Smooth Ride Upgrade for My Jeep Wrangler JK

a good looking basic set of shocks...
The measurements all check out and the shock bodies are 54mm / 2.125" in diameter with 9/16" shafts of what appear to be hard chromed steel. They state they are twin tube design with gas charging which is a solid design for a basic shock where long life is expected. The bushings all appear to be a good quality. The listing says good for 2.5 to 4. inches of lift. With a travel of 10.27" in the front and 11.30" in the rear I would make sure you don't need more travel if going over 4.5" of lift. Remember, this should be a system approach...check your bump stops, tire to fender clearance and make sure no important things are at risk like steering components or oil/trans/t-case pans. If you choose these shocks, know that they look good and have the right attributes.
