iK Foam 9 Large Pump Sprayer | 1.3 Gallon | Professional Auto Detailing; Dry/Wet Foam Spray

I live in Chicago (City) and a using a foam cannon with a pressure washer is not viable. I tried some of the foam guns that attach to your garden hose, but was disappointed in the quality of the foam.I figured I would try the iK9 and couldn't be happier. With 1 gallon of water and 4oz of soap (Griots Foam Wash) I pumped the sprayer up. It produced wonderful foam that slowly dripped down the car. I only needed to re-pump the sprayer once for the whole car and 1 gallon of water was more than enough to cover everything.It's amazing how much dirt is removed from the car with just the foaming. My car has a paint protection film (PPF) and a ceramic coating so I want to minimize the contact I make with the paint to reduce swirl marks. The iK9 is great at removing dirt without touching the paint.I also contacted customer service and they got back to be on a weekend and resolved the issue. Its nice to see great customer service

This foamer is excellent. It produces great foam, it's a great size for pumping (you don't have to bend over too far) and it holds enough product and pressurized air that you can get a lot of work done with it.The only downside is the amount of pumping you have to do to fully charge it, but then again, it's manual - no need to pull out an air compressor to use this. I'm very happy with that trade off.An excellent piece of equipment. Well made.

I purchased this based on other reviews/Youtube demos and was excited to try it as wheel cleaning has always been a chore. I was eager to put this to use this past weekend as it was expected to arrive last Thursday. It did arrive and while the packaging was a little banged up (inside the perfectly fine Amazon packaging), it appeared the product was undamaged. The assembly instructions left a lot to be desired, but the reality is assembly is pretty much common sense if you have ever used a sprayer before. That was until I tried attaching the wand stem. On each end of the stem there is a threaded cap attached to the the stem with a hole in which the stem goes. This cap goes over a pre-installed fitting that attaches to the spray nozzle and hose on each end. The cap hole is supposed to be large enough to extend over the fitting so the threads can be attached. In the product I received, the hole in one cap was not big enough to accommodate the fitting size leaving the unit unless. I have reached out to the manufacturer twice with ZERO response leaving me to try and solve the issue. Since the fittings are glued I couldn't remove the cap to drill out a bigger hole. I finally resorted to using a utility knife to gradually shave off enough material to expand the hole. It was 15 minutes of my time that fortunately paid off. It was a big disappointment for an otherwise solid working product. I used it with Auto Fanatics tire cleaner. Five stars for the product, three stars on material due to the issue and terrible customer service and only four stars on value for the time I spend to fix it.

The only thing I can think of is, you have to be kind of mindful carrying the sprayer so the handle doesn't turn and pull up into the pumping up position. Once you get used to it, it is not a problem. I have used mine many times with very good results. I use mine just for washing vehicles, my car lawntractor, etc. The sprayer is of good quality and it has a pressure relief valve on it that won't allow you to over pressurize the sprayer. I am very happy I purchased it.

This item is probably priced too high for how it worked. The first time I tried it, I poured in my mixture of soap and water in the proper amounts, pumped it about 30-35 times, and started foaming my car up. It worked perfectly for about 15-20 minutes and then started spitting huge about of foam and clogging. There is a possibility I had my mixture wrong or I didn't pump it enough, but honestly, I think this should only cost $40-$50 based on my experience with it. Now be advised, it has worked ok since my first try with it so who knows if it will mess up again the next time I wash my car. Overall, it's easy to set up, easy to fill, easy to pump, but you must do the work with getting the mixtures correct and which hose to use. This is definitely the much cheaper alternative to buying a pressure washer, but I will probably buy one of those in the next year or so because who doesn't need one of those right? lol. This foam sprayer does the job!! I was able to spray my car and SUV and still have soap left over to do my sports car! Easy assembly! Build quality is fantastic! And it produce some great foam! I highly recommend this product to anyone who’s looking to have a sprayer that can handle almost any chemical to do a job!

Such a disappointment. I’ve had nothing but issues. Worked great at the beginning. Lasted long before having to repump. But then the filter started getting clogged literally every time I used it. I cleaned the whole thing out to rid of any containments. Next thing you know it starts spitting instead of a steady stream of foam. I changed out parts, cleaned parts, and nothing. Now it sits in my garage collecting dust. Waste of money.

This foam sprayer is amazing! Well built and produces great foam. I use chemical guys watermelon with the standard foam tip and I'm impressed. Makes washing cars a breeze and enjoyable.
