I’ve been trying this Triphala powder for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be good quality. The packaging is simple and resealable, which helps keep it fresh. The powder has the typical earthy, slightly bitter taste you’d expect from Triphala, so it feels authentic. I usually mix it in warm water before bed, and it blends fairly easily. It’s not the most pleasant flavor, but that’s pretty standard for Triphala. I’ve noticed it does help with digestion and keeping things regular without being too harsh. What I like most is that it’s all natural, no additives, vegan, and gluten-free, so I feel confident using it daily. The price is reasonable compared to other brands, and the amount you get should last a while since you only need a small scoop each time. No benefits to skin health that I have seen so far Overall, a solid Triphala powder that does what it’s supposed to do.

Opinions of Ayurveda products and practices aside, this powder has no added chemicals or preservatives, it's made with three different fruits and nothing else. It tastes very bitter. I mixed it with some cold apple juice but the taste was not much improved. It looks quite unappetizing because it doesn't actually dissolve, and that holds true when mixed with hot water as well. When taken at bedtime it is a very effective laxative. (That's right, "detox" means laxative, if you didn't know.) When compared ounce for ounce with Met*mucil, another very effective "take at bedtime" laxative, it's a good value. But M*tamucil is flavorless and for that reason I'll continue to choose it over this product.
