This charged my US-bought DeWalt batteries with no issue.

Having recently purchased several Dewalt power tools, I needed more than one battery charger. This charger does exactly what it is described to do, recharge Dewalt batteries. They are well made, functional, and do so safely 🙏. They recharge the batteries correctly, and in an appropriate timing so as not to damage your important power tool batteries. A great and efficient charger.

I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with the Dewalt drill charger I purchased to warn others. While charging the batteries, I suddenly heard a strange noise, and the charger started smoking. I immediately ran to disconnect the electricity for the entire section of my house. It was an incredibly frightening experience, especially considering all the stories and videos about similar incidents that I’ve seen on social media. What made the situation even worse was that my daughter was home and got scared when she saw the smoke and heard the noise. Although the charger was placed on a high table, the whole situation was a terrifying ordeal for us. I urge anyone considering buying this product to be extremely cautious. Only purchase from a reliable and trusted source to avoid this type of danger. I sincerely hope that the seller, the manufacturer, and Amazon take this issue seriously and ensure no one else has to go through this nightmare.
