I bought this organizer as it was the perfect size to house my large collection of Laserdiscs and other physical media. I'm happy to have found that it is surprisingly sturdy and well-built. I was concerned with the weight of all the Laserdiscs but all my concerns have been put to rest. I've bought several similar looking products over the years and they often come with uneven finishes, scuffs and scrapes from before they were even packaged, oversized screw holes that strip out far too easily, etc. Thankfully this cabinet shares none of these issues. The packaging was adequate to protect it, every piece came undamaged and with a good finish, overall I couldn't be happier, especially for the price. I did end up purchasing some simple aluminum feet to raise it off the ground by a few inches and I really like how it turned out. There are a lot of options out there for similar cabinets, I know I myself spent at least a few hours trying to sort through all of them, but if you're in the market I strongly recommend this one. Inexpensive, fast shipping, easy to put together, good build quality, it's rare that I can't think of a downside but with this I really can't.

These cube storage organizers are absolutely perfect for a children’s room. I purchased two of them to organize toys, books, and stuffed animals, and they look amazing together. The room feels so much more organized, cozy, and stylish now. They were easy to assemble, very sturdy, and the quality is much better than I expected for the price. The white color looks clean and bright, and the cube size is ideal for storage bins and toys of all sizes. Everything finally has its place, and it’s easy for kids to keep things tidy. They’re not only practical but also beautiful — they blend perfectly into the room decor and make the space look well-designed and organized instead of cluttered. So happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it, especially for kids’ rooms or playrooms!

This is a sturdy, well crafted organizer which is easy to assemble. A handy small screwdriver & extra hardware is included so the only extra item you'll need is a hammer &, if you prefer, a power drill if you think using the screwdriver is too much work. Here are a few suggestions. The organizer needs to be assembled flat on the floor so be sure to leave enough room for assembly & be sure all white, finished edges of the shelves & dividers are orientated to what will be the front of the unit. During assembly, orientate the bottom shelf closest to the wall the organizer will rest against as the instructions are not drawn to indicate this. The boxed item weighs a hefty 65 lbs. Be prepared to do some lifting or to breakdown the box to haul it in pieces. After the lifting, hauling, & assembling, I'm thoroughly enjoying the organizer.

I bought the 6-cube, 13.5" shelf opening storage organizer in light oak for a bedroom to replace a wider and bulkier dresser for clothes storage. This 13.5" deep cube storage opens up more floor space in a small room. I also ordered the 13" Amazon Basics fabric storage bins to insert into the cube openings but have not yet installed them. The inserts will help contain smaller items (socks, etc.) and hide the contents, providing a uniform look to the front of the storage unit. The cube storage is paired next to a small, folding desk, also available at Amazon. Photos show the different types of clothing/articles that can be stored in the 13.5" cubes, including books and 12" notebooks or binders. Consider what you want to store to determine the opening size and number of cubes before ordering any cube storage unit. Instructions were clear and easy to follow for assembly. One person can do it. Fortunately all the predrilled holes lined up correctly and the unit fit together squarely. The small, round stickers provided to cover the screw heads match the finish well and are barely visible once applied. I give this storage system 4 out of 5 stars because of the press board material. If a screw or nail is jammed in incorrectly (not completely straight), it could splinter the material. I applied the self-stick, felt type pads to the bottom of the unit so that it could glide over our hardwood floors without marring the surface. The storage unit can now be moved and repositioned easily without scratching the floors.

Husband put this together in less than 20 minutes! Very sturdy if put together correctly. The size and color are perfect for our nursery and versatile for as our daughter gets older. Great for the price!

This 6 cubicle shelf had all of the proper pieces and went together well. The 9 cube shelf was a total disaster. All of the correct pieces were included in the box for the 6 cube shelf. The 9 cube set included to side boards that belonged with the 6 cube set...there was only one board that the small divider boards fit into....so bottom line is that there was a top and bottom board, two side boards of the right length....2 sideboards that belonged with a 6 cube set...only 5 of the short divider boards when there should have been 6...and the second 'middle' board that should have been there for the third row of cubicles was missing entirely. We thought we could use the two side boards that belonged with the 6 cube set and just settle with having two six cube shelves to stack on top of each other, but those side boards would no work. We ended up using the side boards that go with the 9 cube shelf and just leaving an open shelf on the top with side walls. We used the back board to make it look as if it was designed to have an open top shelf....with no top board to finish off the square. It works and it holds 3 of the cloth cubes that can be used with this sort of storage shelving. From the very beginning on the 9 cube shelf if was very obvious that the holes for the pegs to go through were not drilled the right size and some were not drilled in a straight up and down direction so the pegs would go in at an odd angle and not want to line up with the short divider wall holes until we took a screwdriver and made the holes wide enough for the pegs. This was an entirely different experience than what we had with the 6 cube shelf which we had assembled first. Then there were three other pieces of small weathered gray laminate pieces that were thin like the back boards...but these are three random items in weathered gray, but we purchased the walnut shelves. Honestly, I can't help but think that the person who put the items for the 9 cube set had to have been taking mind altering substances when they packaged it up. Over half of the pegs for the 9 cube set broke trying to assemble this travesty. No such problem with the 6 cube set. If the items weren't so massive and heavy to work with I would have just sent the thing back. It would have required more strength and work to try to get this very heavy box repackaged and sent back, so we are making do. I have a master's degree in Go****a Tape so I was able to make it all work and hold together securely in spite of the lousy quality of the items in the 9 cube set...again, not entirely the quality of the materials themselves, other than the soft wood used for the dowel pegs, but rather the fact that missing pieces for the 9 cube set and extra pieces from at least two other sets were included in the package for the 9 cube unit.

Purchased the 8 cube 11 in opening in white. This was easy to put together and fits well in my grandson's nursery. It works well to have a mix of spaces with and without storage bins. It does not come with storage bins, so make sure you are aware of that! Seems sturdy and arrived with no defects.

It looks pretty decent from a distance and it's extremely affordable. That said... If you're looking for cheap flat pack furniture go to IKEA. I bought this because I have a very specific space it fit into, but honestly I don't expect it to last for very long. I've had kallax cube shelves in college and those are waaaaayyy better. Assembly is kind of annoying. The instructions tell you to build it from the inside out but if you do that it's extremely awkward as it's just held together by loose dowels and prayers. I reccomned building into the base first instead. All of the hardware is just basically free balling wood screws into pilot holes. If you're not super careful it's very easy to split the thin particle board material when screwing them in. Not sure what I'm complaining for, it's dirt cheap. I feel like it's going to fall apart if a breeze comes through the window though. I recommend spending a few more bucks on an something more rigid and sturdy.
