This comforter comes in a ridiculously small box for its actual size because it is vacuum-packed. Once opened, it expands to its normal size, but to fluff it up you have to put it in the dryer on low for about 10 minutes—preferably with a couple of dryer balls or tennis balls. Believe me when I say the difference before fluffing in the dryer and after is astonishing.As for the comforter itself, well, let’s just say it’s the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s lightweight and warm, and completely washable without any shifting of the filling. The tie loops on the corners are well placed and firmly attached. It even has loops on the sides (I wish my duvet cover had ties on the sides!).My only complaint is that the microfiber cover is brushed (nice and soft if you aren’t putting a cover on it, but most people are going to put a cover on it) so it doesn’t slide well, and getting the comforter situated in the duvet cover takes some work.A smooth surface vs. a brushed surface would be the only thing I would change about this comforter, however.
