This is a fantastic tool for looking into places that can't be seen by the human eye...because human eyes are attached to giant human heads.It was simple to get started. Scan the QR code in the instruction booklet from your phone and install the app on Android or iOS. Plug the device into your phone and the app automatically starts, showing you what the camera sees. You can take pictures and video through the app. You can also rotate the view in 90 degree increments so that the screen aligns with the camera direction, which changes as the camera is snaked around. The camera has an adjustable LED light, enabling it to work well in dark places. The fidelity of the images it captures is very good to tell what you're looking at.The length of wire is more than enough for any normal job. It's rigid, yet bendable, and keeps its shape to control exactly where to direct the camera. The product comes with accessories that can be attached to the camera, such as a magnet, a 45 degree mirror, and a hook (pictured).In a simple demonstration, I snaked the camera through my couch cushions, discovered a piece of popcorn, and took a snapshot (attached image) where you can see the quality of a photo taken in absolute darkness.I highly recommend this product, which is well worth the price.

This is a great camera and I’m sure it’s useful if you are in any type of construction, especially plumbing. I’ve already peered down a couple of slow drains. Just be prepared for what you see. Yuck. Ive also found myself looking for places to try it out. That would be your preference. lol But seriously it gives a clear image and it’s pretty well lit. The cord is super long which I will probably never use but if you are doing home remodeling and looking for wires and such, this is exactly what you need. Very easy to use with the app.

Bought this borescope to investigate some piping leaks and it works well enough for what I needed. The lighted head illuminates the field well although the images tend to blur out easily as you get closer to obstructions. Most likely the issue is with the light bouncing off the pipe walls creating too much glare for the camera to deal with. But overall quite happy with the borescope and at this price wasn't expecting a professional grade unit. The control app was easily found and installed from the Google Play Store and worked quite well to view in real time and for taking pictures to review later. The borescope itself is powered off my phone so there's no need for any battery or recharging which is quite convenient when you're in the middle of a project. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone with simple homeowner type needs for a borescope!

Good camera. Bought this to look down a drain pipe to find where it was damaged. Sturdy cable allows for following pipe without slumping or going limp. Plugs into any usb c. ( I use on my iPad because my iPhone 14 is still lighting cable) download the app, plug in the camera, ready to rock and roll! Nothing to learn it just works! Video quality is fine for what we needed it for

Easy plug-and-play with the free app...I was using it within 2 minutes. Has a much longer cable than most borescopes I've used for valve inspection on my cars. The camera has very bright LEDs and I like the camera attachments (hook, mirror and magnet). It takes photos and video as well, in color or black and white, and saves then in the app album on the phone. The camera view is clear - my review pics were taken using the boroscope. It will be extremely useful for plumbing and auto repair work - I found that it is also great for searching for lost items under the furniture in my home. This borescope is economical with similar features as a battery-operated one, but way lighter, no batteries to replace, and takes up less space in my toolbox.

Cheap, so not much to expect, works decently in close up. Fine for enthusiasts but probably not professionals.

This is a great "plug and play" borescope, and is a major upgrade from my previous borescope in every way: USB C (vs USB A), much higher resolution for clearer pictures, dual front/side camera for alternate angle, and much thinner diameter and firmer cable for navigating tighter spaces.The control unit allows for lighting adjustment, and includes a button to take pictures - which can be long-pressed to change cameras. Factor in the included attachments (threaded collar, 45 degree "periscope", hook, and magnet), and this one is an easy purchase. I'm very glad I got it.

I already love this thing. Pretty good quality image depending on background lighting. LED lighting it provides is very good. Picture is very crisp. Semi-flexible cable making it easy to adjust. App is pretty good. One of the things that I like about it is that you can hold the camera in one orientation and hit a button in the app and the image will turn 90° on the phone so if the camera is upside down you don't have to try to twist the camera. Looks like it's really nice quality. Can't beat the price. I'm using it to look inside my pet bird box to check on their eggs without disturbing them. I can imagine all the other times this would be valuable.
