I purchased myself a used Zebra GK420D thermal printer from another website. It came with a power supply but it was clearly faulty. It was also a giant brick!! So I needed a new power supply quickly since I use my thermal printer on a daily basis. This power supply is fully compatible with my Zebra GK420D and it works a treat. No issues at all and the brick is much smaller so it actually fits nicely under my desk now. Highly recommended, a reasonable price and seems like it will last forever.

Very weird issue on a Zebra barcode printer at a customers, looked like a print head issue as it was missing bits of the print, tried everything, cleaning, changing the head, new ribbons and labels, turned it was a slightly faulty PSU, appeared to work fine but when it called for heat to melt the wax ribbon, the PSU was not always giving it correctly and this one solved it and is working fine.

The green light went out on my printer GK420D so wasnt sure whether it was the printer or the plug- My hubby is an electrician so tested the plug and said it was dead so ordered this - Came next day and could get back to work on Monday so very happy

I use a GC420T, which is listed as one of the printer this adapter is specifically designed for. First of all, I made a mistake and plugged it into the outlet before connecting it to the printer. When connecting it to the printer, there was a big spark, this was likely my fault you should always have both sides without power when making connections. I unplugged the cable, but when I tried to push the plug in the rest of the way it was very stiff, and when I pushed a little harder it broke off part of the printer which fell inside the case. It's too big for the socket. Don't do what I did and keep pushing because you trust it will work, buy the official power adaptor and know when to give up!! 0/10, wrecked a £300 printer to save a tenner on an adaptor. Horrible product.

Killed my printer as it has too much power going through it. I was previously using the GK420D. Avoid!

Whilst this power supply does the job (bought for a GK420d), it is not a Zebra branded power supply as the seller information indicates.

Not only did it arrive fast, it works perfectly right out of the box. A new adapter would be expensive, I was told. Jokes on them, this adapter works great, and to the fraction of the cost.
