Eco-Friendly Forks That Don’t Feel Cheap Striving to find better, healthier options, these ECOVITA forks really fit the bill. Spending a great amount of time in our RV, I love finding products that help make daily life a little easier while still being eco-conscious. Unlike many disposable utensils, these don’t feel flimsy or brittle. They’re surprisingly sturdy and hold up well with actual meals instead of snapping the second you dig into something. 😉 I also appreciate that they’re compostable and a better alternative to traditional plastic forks. It’s nice being able to save water and skip extra dishes without feeling quite as wasteful. The ECOVITA flatware have become a staple in our RV and for gatherings at home as well. I hope that this review helps you decide. I know it’s what I would’ve liked to hear when picking out compostable disposable forks.

Sturdy and full size

Week at the lake deserves easy cleanup and minimal environmental impact…even if the rest of the world doesn’t care…

The utensils are generally pretty solid, as in they don't bend/aren't flimsy. They do, however, snap at the handle fairly easily compared to normal plasticware. They also do bend when placed in high temperature food, but they reform pretty quickly once things cool off. The look and feel are fine, they're cream colored and look a little less cheap than your usual white plastic. Overall probably a bit expensive for the quality - you're paying a premium to use biodegradable materials.

Good quality and sturdy, they don’t break while trying to eat with them.
