It takes a special cinch clamp and tool.

Q: Is this suitable for marine applications?

I used them on the water system on my boat. It's not suitable for use on a thruhull, particularly not in saltwater.

Q: Can this be used with PEX a tubing 1/2”?

Its not for pex A. Please verify.
