The practice strokes are Chinese which are performed a little different than Japanese kanji strokes. The blank sheets are suitable for Japanese kanji practice and work well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars OK, but not as good as alternative version *by E***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2023* These practice sheets are a bit darker in their base grey color than the "MasterChinese" practice fabric, so the contrast on these is poorer. On these sheets, the brush-strokes also tend to look blotchy after a few moments (uneven bleed on the cloth). So, if you want to take a photo of a character you're proud of, or that you want a teacher to comment on, you have to get it right away... But the whole point of these is to do 24 small characters, or six large ones (etc). Of course your earlier characters will always fade a bit (to be expected), but on these sheets they also look unattractive by the time you finish the set. Unless Teagas' sheets have improved since 2018 (when I got mine), I'd advise people to look for the Master Chinese version.
