Three Halves of Ino Moxo : Teachings of the Wizard of the Upper Amazon

I loved this book
I loved this book, but it was very difficult to read because it was written in literal word-for-word Spanish to English translation. I appreciated understanding how Amazonians speak, however, when translating from one language to the other, proper grammatical translation language should obligatorily be used. Aside from that, I was shocked & excited to learn that "....the first man was not man. The first man was a woman"! Very interesting read indeed.

very interesting book, enjoyable read even if it does not always make sense, is not entirely cohesive, still fun to read

Great book -smallish print. No Kindle version.
Great book. I have not read it all because I have bad eyes and can really only read large amounts on my Kindle. This book has small print.

True to life adventure
The personal reaction and the descriptions bring you close to an ayahuasca vision. A glimpse into a world of magic. I've already it twice and will read it many times again. Don Jose Campos the great shaman says it is one of his favorite books and I agree.

Tough reading
I just can't get interested in the stories in this book. Not what I expected. Difficult to read and enjoy.

as it sometimes jumps around like dreams or poems do
I can't comment on the English version, as I haven't read it yet, but I can comment on the story. This was a really interesting book. Not so much for the hallucinogenic part, but for a glimpse into life on the Amazon, and the myths and dream visions of the people there. The story line is sometimes hard to follow, as it sometimes jumps around like dreams or poems do, but the end brings it all back together, read it.
