50 Amp Non-Touch Air CNC Plasma Cutter, Non HF Blowback Plasma Cutting Machine, Dual Voltage 120/240V IGBT Digital Plasma Cutter, 16mm Clean Cutting, 25mm Max Cutting Thickness(CUT55X)

I have used this plasma cutter on my homemade cnc plasma machine for the last month and am happy with the ease of connections to my electronics and also the cut quality seems to be nice. I am new to the hobby so am far from an expert and so far have only cut 20 and 16 guage cold rolled but with the correct settings in Mach3 this plasma cuts well. The only downside is lack of complete english instructions or a cutting chart in the manual though it will suffice and get you by and also it seems to use consumables fairly quickly but that again might be my settings but I would definately buy this plasma again!

I ordered the Herocut Cut55 and received it on Tuesday May 14. The unit was in the manufactures box which was in an Amazon box. The manufactures box had a few tears with one toward the bottom that was pushed in an inch or so. I opened the box and everything appeared to be packed well with respect to the main unit. It was sitting in a thick padded cradle. I did not see any damage to the unit but was concerned that it might have taken a good jolt. The unit is light but appears to be made well. The only other thing that I did not like was that the little clear plastic container for the consumables was laying in the box for the torch and the consumables were all rolling around inside the torch box. At first, I thought they short changed me because I could not find one of the 5 consumables. I later found it stuck inside the ground clamp. It appears as if they just through it in the box like they were in a hurry? Anyway, I did purchase an adapter to go from a NEMA L6-30p to NEMA 6-50 and it arrived today (I could have made one but decided to purchase one). I setup the unit today and cut a few pieces of 14 gauge to about 3/8" to make sure the unit was not DOA. It cuts through like butter. At this time, I am giving it 4 stars because of how it was packaged. I may adjust this up or down depending on how things go. I plan to use this mainly for hobby work and may consider a CNC table later. Also, I noticed the tip that was on the torch was a bit more grayish than the other 5 spares and is likely from their QC checks. Hopefully, this unit holds up.

been using on a cnc table for 2 months, no issues, great product, cuts nicely

This cutter started out fine but after about ten different cuts it has stopped working. I can't fine a customer service number so I'm out what I paid for the machine and extras.

HeroCut came with bag inside the box open and parts missing. The parts were everywhere, and instructions are sad to say the least. I returned it ASAP

it is very light and easy to use and the consumables are very cheap

This is a 240V machine only, which is fine as that is what I wanted. Need a source for consumables, the seller does not have them.
