EAS Myoplex has been a staple for me since I started lifting in my teens. For more than 20 years I've used this product. I was so sad when EAS went out of business, but come to find out, another company bought the rights from EAS, and it's on shelves again. In my opinion, it's one of the highest quality meal replacements on the market. It has Whey protein (concentrate, hydrolyslate, and isolate.) and it also has micellar casein. Whey protein is one of the fastest acting types of protein on the market (1-2 hours) while casein takes 6-7 hours to digest because of the fact that it gels in the stomach. That's what you want, fast and slow acting proteins, to keep you in a positive nitrogen balance throughout the day. Also, the amino acid profiles between whey and casein greatly complement each other. Finally, this MRP includes many vitamins and minerals that are very important for athletes and active people. As a meal replacement, this is quite superior to your regular protein powder. In fact, many brands of protein will state right on the label "Not meant as a meal replacement." So, if you are going to skip a meal to take your protein, do yourself the favor of upgrading to a meal replacement. These shakes are same as they were back in the day. I love how they don’t bloat me. It feels as though I’m feeding my muscles and not my bloating. 🤙🏽🤙🏽

This review is for the chocolate peanut butter flavor. It is horrific tasting. The regular chocolate is fine but this is pure trash as for taste.
