As I ordered this spray lance when Amazon was 'awaiting stock' I expected a delay for delivery......and 2 months later it turned up.I'm not sure what the delay was but I'm very pleased with the quality and function so it's all good.Hozelock products are normally decent quality but recently I've been disappointed by some of their hoses and spray heads which have been cheaply made.Luckily this seems to be one of the more robust items in their range and it seems to be good value for money so far.It is really handy as it allows me to water multiple pots and planters without splashing water all over the place as I would when using a spray gun or simple nozzle head.I will be storing it in a heated shed over the Winter to ensure it doesn't suffer frost damage and I'm confident that it will last a good few years.Recommend.

The media could not be loaded. As with all my reviews I try to use the product for a period of time before writing about it as I think that is only fair. As you can see I have been using this spray for almost a year now and it's been great. To be honest and open - the first one delivered did crack straight away but replacing it was an easy and good experience so no problems there and this one has lasted the test of use and time.ProsMassive reach - Hanging baskets are well watered once again! As you can see in the video and pictures, the reach of this spray is long and you can tilt the attachment so watering high things, such as those thirsty baskets, is so easy now. okay so at first I did water myself mostly but that's only because I rush (and stood underneath!) but stand a little away and you're dry.Great selection of nozzles/spray - there are numerous spray choices as you would expect and you can see these on one of the pictures (I hope!). We have a thirsty bed that loves to get drenched and I can now do that choosing the right nozzle with a simple twist. It also means I am not standing on the bedding as the spray can stretch out as mentioned above.Easy to attach to hose - if you have the correct attachment (we use a generic one at one end and Hozelock at the other) then it's easy to go. Just makes sure you have the correct attachment as per the items description first but it seems to be just the generic attachment you would usually need.Spray Lock and Off/On - So, again in the pics and vid, you will find there is the push grip/button to start/stop the flow of water and this can be locked in place so you don't have to keep gripping throughout the spraying/watering. This is great if you struggle to hold your grip. It also has the knob for turning off and on the water to the main handle which is very useful too.Cons - I really can't think of any. I have had the odd trickle of water at the connection point but this could be due to a number of reasons such as poor connector, too much pressure etc. and I don't think this is the fault of the sprayer to be honest. Even if it was it is minor.A great buy and happy user after almost a year of regular usage - if I had it just for the hanging baskets I would still be happy!

Bought this to use primarily with our large tomato and sweetcorn planter as when they start getting big, it can be difficult to get to the heart of it all watering with a regular hand spray attachment (we normally use a Hozelock Ultramax multi spray gun)... but with this, it's easy. You can just poke it through all the way to the back and to the base of the plant and just water away. It has all the same spray modes as the Ultramax too, so it's just as versatile for all garden watering needs. Although I haven't used it for this just yet, I imagine it's also going to be fairly useful for some 'light-duty' outdoor cleaning that I would ordinarily get our pressure washer out for, such as clearing the gutters, drains, etc.The only downside is that the all-plastic handle, trigger, trigger lock and flow regulator all feel a little cheap when compared to using the Ultramax spray gun, which is a shame as the rest of it feels quite well made. If they made a metal 'Pro' or 'Ultramax' version of this, I definitely would've bought that instead (although I imagine that might've added a fair amount to the weight and cost). That aside, I'm definitely pleased with this purchase.** EDIT - 24-07-2018**Ha ha! Clearly, I spoke too soon! The lance length adjuster has sheered off after literally two uses...! It's the grey coloured plastic connecting part which doesn't look or feel like it's under any real amount of stress or duress so I'm hoping this is a simple manufacturing defect. In the meantime, I'm bumping this thing down to two stars until its replacement arrives and proves itself. If anything should prompt Hozelock into making an Ultramax version of this, well... this is a prime example! I'll give this one more go but if its replacement goes 'pop'... I think "refund" and look elsewhere... which would really be a shame because I quite like it.** EDIT 25-07-2018 **Due to the prohibitive costs of returning it to Amazon (because they packed it in a massively over-sized box and the Post Office wanted to charge accordingly despite its light weight), they've written this one off and are sending me another. Rather than throwing it away, I thought I'd try repairing it. In my experience, Superglue doesn't work that effectively with the types of plastics Hozelock have used on this product... however, I have tried amalgamating tape... and it has worked wonders (photo uploaded). A stretched wraparound of around 5 - 6 times overlapping the broken grey connector and the straight tube and it's given a rubberised fixing that feels stronger than the original and is water-tight. It's working as expected with no problems so far... so I'll stick the replacement new one when it arrives in the shed as a spare or gift it to my neighbour. Message to Hozelock:- Make a metal version!

This is a lifesaver it makes hard to reach pots and hanging baskets a breeze to water . I'd highly recommend this its very well made

A must have for watering hanging baskets which need a pair of steps to reach. Was delivered on time.

This is the second one that has broken by the metal shaft becoming detached from the plastic housing with no way to reseat and lock.This is also the second one both Hozelock and Amazon have refused to refund or replace as it's over the 30 day warranty.Absolutely useless design that's about as robust as a chocolate teapot and awful customer service.

I like hozelock products this one has been very well thought out a great design, easy to use. I am 6ft2inches tall and the extendable shaft is ideal for me.

Se puede regular la cantidad de agua, diferentes modos de salida y no hay planta por alta que esté que no se alcance a regar

Ich habe mir den neuen (und leichter gewordenen) Hozelok bestellt, da ich viele Jahre das Vorgängermodell hatte und eigentlich sehr zufrieden war. Leider hat der alte Gießstab Probleme mit dem Griff bekommen (Wasserlauf konnte nicht mehr abgestellt werden), weshalb ich mir dann das neue Modell bestellte.Nunmehr musste ich aber feststellen, dass nach nicht mal ganz 3 Monaten der Griff des neuen Hozelok anfing, zu tropfen. Anfangs nur ab und zu einmal, aber mit der Zeit wurde es immer mehr, so dass einem das Wasser ständig über die Hände lief, wenn man ihn benutzte und am Griffstück hielt. Und mit nachlassender Sommerwärme wurde auch das Wasser immer kälter, weshalb die Benutzung immer unangenhemer wurde. Nach so einer kurzen Zeit schon undicht ist ein no go!Habe ihn als Garantiefall zurück geschickt und den Kaufpreis erstattet bekommen.

El precio de esta lanza es mas del doble y triple que otras lanzas que hay por aquí, las cuales he comprado también y estoy probando. Esta, que es la mas cara, ha sido la primera en romperse. El diseño es aparatoso y el plastico es endeble, se me rompio en la zona de acople entre los dos tubos telescopicos. Para ser justos tengo que decir también que se me rompio al forzarlo un poco pues me costaba alinearlo y apretarlo para que mantuviera la posición deseada, pero por el precio que tiene el plastico deberia ser mucho mejor. Aconsejo comprar otras lanzas mas baratas, el precio de esta cuando la adquirí (36€) no esta justificado en absoluto.

Buena calidad aunque un poco pesada.
