Magichome High Pressure Filter Shower Head with 3 Spray Modes

These shower heads are great for increasing pressure. On our third one now. They generally last approx 2-3, years before requiring replacement and for the low cost they are a real benefit. The pressure is so forcefull we can only turn our shower in half way or it hurts your skin. (We have a direct shower working off of our combi boiler)

I wasn't expecting my electric shower to be converted into a very powerful shower by this shower head, because of the limitations of the water pressure and electric shower. But we did find it made a difference and I think this is due to a few reasons. The holes are in the shower head are very small, so water being pushed through these holes (rather than the larger holes of our old shower head) gives the impression that the water is coming out at a higher pressure. The shower head has three settings and one of these is the rain setting. The rain setting seems to give the better shower effect (I tend not to like the one with the narrower water stream on any shower head, even though it's usually the more powerful setting). On the rain setting, water seems to come through all of the holes uniformly. I also noticed that because the water was coming out in a fairly narrow stream, that this added to the impression that the shower pressure had increased. Overall I think this was a very good purchase and will be a great alternative until we replace the shower with a proper power shower. We also noticed that although the water comes out of very small holes, the effect is soft. My only comment is that the shower head is fairly heavy compared to others, but this will be because of the beads, so is to be expected. We weren't disappointed at all!

OMG best shower in my new flat yet! The water pressure in my ground floor flat is terrible, at best it was like have a soft summer shower with the old head. It may not be a wide spray with the fine plate (haven't tried the more normal looking spray plate) but you certainly get the power, unlike the old one with the same narrow spray setting. It was amazing, and it only took half the time to wash and rinse my long hair. Not sure the beads make the water softer, I live in South Wales, renowned for it soft water, however the shampoo didn't lather as well as usual but I can live with that!

This will probably be perfect for most people, but for me, it wasn't really any different to the old head I removed. I don't have a power shower, I have a hose attached to the double tap. You know the type .. turn a lever for taps, turn it the other way for shower . So probably this shower head isn't suited to that kind of set up. It was also too heavy to stay in a good position in the Shower head holder on the wall. It just kept drooping down, which was a little annoying. Also, I didn't experience any increase in water pressure at all. In fact, to be honest, it was a little weaker I think. Anyway, probably fine if you have a power shower , not so good if you don't.

I bought this thinking I’d have nothing to lose because it was so cheap. I needed something that would filter the chalk from the water. I live in the worst place in the U.K. for hard water. The only time my skin is good is when I’m on holiday where the water is softer. This shower head is amazing. The water even looks softer when it comes out. My skin is so soft. When I moisturise it sinks right in. Never did this before, it would need rubbing because it couldn’t absorb well due to my skin being rough and dry. My hair has more bounce, which is great because I’m curly. My shower doesn’t need limescale remover anymore because there isn’t any. Which is further evidence this works. My husband likes the me options on how the water comes out and it looks great. I think the pressure is slightly better but I didn’t buy it for that reason. If you live in a hard water area it’s worth buying just for that reason. But if you have dry skin, it’s a game changer.

Bought this to replace the existing shower head we had due to being old and the water pressure was low. I decided to buy this and see if it worked and it didn't cost too much. Tgd shower head was easy to install and immediately noticed the water pressure was so much better when we turned the shower on. The water feels so much nicer on your skin and my hair lathered up a lot better than our old shower head . Great buy and fab price .

I bought this expecting stronger water pressure, especially with the advertised "up to 200% higher pressure," but it's actually much weaker than my old shower head. I've previously used a similar £5 shower head for over two years with excellent pressure. The only reason I replaced it was because the spray holes eventually became distorted, not because of poor water flow. Even that old, worn-out shower head still has better pressure than this one. The filter is a nice idea, but it's pointless if the water pressure is this weak. Very disappointed.

Llevaba tiempo detras de esta alcachofa desde que la vi en un SPA de galicia y estoy encantada ahora que la tengo, es identico. Tiene 3 tipos de chorros distintos, todos ellos con una fuerte presión, que es muy agradable y relajante y que ademas te aclara enseguida el gel o el champu del cuerpo. El metodo con el que esta perforado el cabezal permite esa alta presión efecto spa y ademas te hace ahorrar agua, asi que es perfecto, un dos por uno. A la hora de instalarlo no tuve ningun problama, enrosca perfectamente en la manguera, sin producir goteo, y encaja bien en la sujecion de la pared. Precio super bueno para todo lo que ofrece, a mayores con los beneficios de los 3 tipos de minerales que purifican el agua.

Ce pommeau de douche mérite que l'on en dise du bien. J'ai été surprise de régler mon débit d'eau plus faiblement que d'habitude et de constater un jet plus fort ! Ainsi, la consommation d'eau est vraiment réduite. Chaque membre de famille l'a remarqué... Septique au début, j'ai décidé d'offrir le même pommeau à ma fille.
