The amount of rope that comes with it is very small and there isn’t room to snip some if needed. In order for the three teeth that grab the flywheel to even move freely, you have to bend the copper plate upwards or else it will be way too tight and not even engage and retract correctly. Save your money and time by getting a high quality replacement or just by the oem parts used or new from Honda.
