Vida Designs Corona Medium Bookcase Solid Distressed Waxed Pine

The product does not disappoint and represents excellent value for money. It was delivered promptly and efficiently. I feel that I have done it a disservice to relegate it to my Store Room but it will be very much appreciated. Plenty of space for files and books. Shelves can be positioned where you want them. Sturdy construction and good quality.

The bookcase is just what I wanted, was not to difficult to put together, it looks just right sitting in an alcove, It seems very sturdy. I have no problem with the bookcase.

This was fairly easy to assemble although I had help so didn’t take long either to put together and gave up.It fit all the books we had which is great and the top shelf is longer for more storage. So far we’ve got a mix of hardbacks and paperbacks and no problem there.I ordered this and then tried to cancel as I wasn’t sure going by the reviews but happy with it. I paid attention to earlier reviews to study the instruction booklet before beginning and still got it wrong but managed to fix it immediately- it’s with the top and bottom panel making sure you have it the right way because if the additional slab at the bottom.

Lovely piece of furniture with complicated instructions, hence the slightly odd bar across the top which should have been at the bottom. I was forced to decorate it to disguise it as I couldn’t face undoing all my hard work to fix the problem. So! Other than my own incompetence, my purchase was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

At the price it was a good purchase.The instructions for assembly could be a bit clearer with additional wording to the pictures to clarify.The back panel is of hardboard which needs tacking and a tip for would be buyers is to make holes in the hardboard for the tacks with a bradawl and that makes it so much easier to knock the small tacks in.Incidentally the panel is in 2 sections with a strip of wood for the middle that they slot into.Make sure the panel is right way round!.The main body is of solid pine as are shelves and there are different positions for locating them.This bookcase replaced one from Ikea that was of chipboard and collapsed under the weight of books!It took my wife and i 2.5 hrs to assemble -we are over 70 so it may be less for younger persons.

As bookcase

Ordered two of the medium book cases and have just put them together. Some fiddly bits, but no worse than any other flat pack furniture I've built. The finished product looks good, it feels nice and solid. I am very pleased with the book cases and looking forward to building the next one, due to arrive tomorrow!They came well packaged and were delivered on time.I can't comment on durability as I haven't even put anything on the shelves yet. but so far can't find anything to fault with them.
