I’ve gone crazy on collecting watches and have purchased five of these to keep in my cabinets so that I can store and organize my watch collection.

I've owned a number of watch grids/holders of varying quality. The pictures of this model, with the wood veneer and everything, make it look like it's a quality product. But quality is lacking. Here are the main issues that I noticed:1) There is no padding on the bottom surface of the watch holder spaces, only a thin layer of fabric material. Higher quality watch grids/holders typically have some padding on the bottom to protect metal watch bands or clasps, to prevent them from rubbing against a solid surface when they're inserted.2) The removable inserts that the watches wrap around are exceptionally low quality. It actually feels like they're stuffed with turn up newspapers. The sides are rigid cardboard, which makes them fairly inflexible. The inserts do their job, but this is by no means a luxury product and the inserts don't feel particularly durable.3) The removable inserts, and their corresponding grid holder spaces, are also narrower than other holders that I've tried. If you have larger watches greater than 42mm in diameter, this might be a tighter fit with neighboring watches.
