Great little electric outboard. I just need it to pootle up and down the canal and it goes just fast enough for me! I notice the higher you set the prop in the water the faster it goes. Nice and quiet and can recharge the battery (not supplied) via the solar panels on my narrowboat so free to run! You do need to ensure the propellor pin in correctly fitted snugly into its slot or the prop either won’t turn or will stop turning if it slips out. The only thing I can fault it with is the inbuilt battery monitor can only be seen from directly above which isn’t possibly from my little dingy. It’d make me sense to have it raised so can be viewed from in front of the outboard. The arm could extend out more too. But minor quibbles, otherwise an excellent bit of kit!

For the price this is the best thing I have bought for a boat in many years. The motor is light and has enough power to make my rib highly manoeuvrable with non of the won't start horrors with a petrol motor.

Absolute crap! Used it for 2 hours on my first trip. Speed controller became erratic but at least it worked. Second time I went to use it, it was completely dead. Very cheaply made unfortunately. Won’t last long. Avoid!!

Really good value for money, not sure about longevity as just purchased and not even seen water…

Shifts our boat happily, sturdy, good quality. Definitely heavier than a plastic one but worth it.

24V very strong motor, need 2 batterys to run. Full charge i get around 6hrs play time which is plenty. As longs your not full speed all the time. Fits perfect for my SIB, good valye for money, quite heavy easy to use.
