I have enjoyed using these types of manual coffee bean hand grinders. I particularly like the conical burr style because, for me, it produces the correct size grind for espresso, press coffee or drip coffee.This Timemore grinder is one of the best I’ve used. It has one of the smoothest and easy to turn grind dial. The dial markings are well marked, labeled and easy to read. Plus, this brand includes a well written instruction manual which many other brands I have owned did not.Another nice feature is the solid grinder cap top. This top has the built-in collapsible hand crank. You slide the sleeve on the crank handle towards the knob and it collapses 90 degree. For me this is a nice feature because instead to 2 separate parts (top cap and crank handle) you only one 1 part (top cap with built-in collapsible hand crank) which is better for storage and traveling.As for quality and durability, it is made from quality cast aluminum and stainless steel. It is so sturdy it weighs 1 pound and 5 ounces. The main grinder body has a textured finish for easy handling of the grinder when grinding coffee. As with most manual hand grinders, you need to become accustom to the grind setting to fine the coarse setting for the type of coffee you want to brew. The enclosed manual is very helpful.For performance, I have been using it daily without any complaints. I have not detected any negative taste on the coffee flavor. I have enjoyed brewing espressos, lattes, cappuccinos and drip coffee. The crank rotates smoothly. Cleaning is simple and I don’t have to worry about any sharp edges because it is very well machined.To summarize, I really enjoy this product. Once you become familiar with the settings, it is easy to use and clean. It is great for storing and traveling. This is a quality product and for me is worth the cost.

This is such a good manual grinder for espresso. I’ve made my best cups with this, even over the baratza encore esp.I would recommend! Make sure to grind finer than you’d think

As with all TIMEMORE products, this doesn’t disappoint. Plus, I really love the green color, very unique in a coffee grinder world full of black and grey. Included is the grinder body, hand crank, catch cup, brush and travel bag. I got the ESP variant to use with my Flair58. It’s easy to grind even at the size required for espresso. Takes me less than a min to grind up to 20g. The quality of the grind is great, the conical burr set produces decent uniformity in size distribution. The body of grinder is all metal and feels solid in the hand. I like that the catch cup screws onto the bottom to prevent one from accidentally knocking it off during grinding. It’s easy to put on and take off. Finally the handle folds up when complete for easy storage.

My 3 star review actually has nothing to do with the packaging... When I opened the unit, there were signs of use, but I decided I'd clean it out and give it a shot. Let's do right my the environment, right? Anyhow, this thing just does NOT offer enough adjustment to dial in for espresso. For me, the .7 setting would choke my machine, and one click past .7 would flow way too fast. As another reviewer stated, probably best to say it's "espresso capable" rather than "designed for espresso." Aside from that, this is a tremendously built product that I wish just had a few more adjustment settings.
