It works like it should. It's a great idea to include the weight to calibrate it. Also, I like the skull on it. Nice for the cost of it.

I got this specifically to measure the mixed nuts I eat for their heart health benefits. For my condition, it's suggested I eat 50 grams per day. So, the included 50 gram calibration weight is perfect. Calibration was right on when I received it. Sometimes, after I place the small cup on the weigh table, and press the tare button, I'll put the 50 gram calibration weight in the cup as a test. It's always right on. It is small, and looks delicate; but, for what I'm doing, it's perfect.

I like that this came in gold, since I'm primarily using it for gold jewelry. Compared to other scales like it, it was really nice that this came with a calibration weight AND that the case has a spot for it.I even accidentally dropped it and it continues to work. I didn't even have to recalibrate it.The only thing I'd change is make the plate a little larger. I mostly use it for jewelry and I like larger pieces. Some of the bracelets and chains I've tried to weight want to fall off the edges. Oh and for that reason I also kind of wish it was larger capacity and I have one chain that is said to be 500 grams and another that claims to be 576 g. But I knew these things going into it.

This scale is pretty accurate. I have weighed both silver and gold with it. I weighed some gold with it and then took the gold to a jewelry store. They put the gold on their scale. It was practically the same weight as my scale. There was like a 0.1 difference in the two.

Small, light and compact. I use it for measuring yeast when making pizza dough, although my sons tell me these scales may also have other uses, apart from baking. Not quite sure why Amazon also offers to 'bundle' 100 clear plastic resealable bags with it when buying this. Maybe there's a market in measuring and prepacking a couple of grams of yeast that I'm unaware of? The small size and foldable, compact design makes it ideal for slipping into your pocket to check the yeast is correctly measured out should you be outside of your home when making dough. Or if there's a 'street market' for selling a couple of grams of yeast. Of Course! That's bound to be it! Street baking!
