Absolutely perfect. My father in law passed away last Christmas. My daughter had a shirt made with his hands on her back. It is a great shadow box to hold this cherished shirt. The pins were easy to put in the board. The frame is a perfect black. The packaging was great with plastic stabilizers so the frame didn't move in package.

I am fairly certain that the 'oak' is actually just paper over particle style board, but it looks to be high quality overall. No one will notice that its not solid oak. This is my first shadow box so I had no idea it came with an insert, but thats ok. I just had to remove it for my project. Maybe I can use the insert for something else. The shadow box itself is beautiful. The glass is clear and scratch free, thick enough that you don't have to be terrified of wiggling it while working. The measurements are precise, as I cut my cardstock at 10.987" squared and it fit inside perfectly. Unless you use the insert. That, I believe, was about 10.5" give or take. The back panel is very easy to remove and reinsert with little rotating clip things to hold it in place. Also the back has a soft, padded white backing for pinning specimens, or whatever you have in mind. I bought mine to make a lightbox, so no one can see the back panel any more, which is probably a good thing since dog hair really got stuck to it in the time I was working on the project. 😕🤣 My fault. Shoulda kept it protected. All around this is a very nice product and I would buy it again. Honestly I only bought this one because it was 'oak' which was exactly what I needed. Its a gift for Easter and I think she will LOVE it.

I love this shadow box. I bought it to frame a copy of my husband’s school degree and an honors rope he had received. It was as simple as putting a picture into a regular photo frame. Easy to hang. Magnet works great. Nothing popping out or out of place. I got the black frame and I love the color against my white walls. Overall great quality.

I have been buying these shdow boxes for years. They are great. Just be aware that wood part of the frames on the black 11”x11” boxes are narrower. The wood on the old frames was 3/4” wide and the new ones are less than 5/8” wide. You notice the difference if the frames are side by side.

I used the shadow box to house my travel souvenirs, plane tickets etc of my trip. I like how it's spacious inside so some bulky stuff still fits. You can hang portrait or landscape.

Great back loading picture boxes. They are sturdy and look great. I would think twice about back loading with what i was putting inside. I used them to display Bedouin jewelry with lots of moving parts and it was tricky to keep everything where it was placed. Front loading would have save a lot of time. Great buy but sent back due to cheaper price at Michael's sale price for equivalent product.
