Does using this sunscreen block vitamin D?

Yes, any sun location will block production of vitamin D (or the ultraviolet light that is responsible for it). How to suntan healthily: expose yourself to sun without a sunblock for time appropriate to your skin type and condition. After that apply sunblock (zinc oxide block is easy to apply in the sun as it starts to work immediately and do not need period of time to activate). Reapply if needed and if feeling your skin had enough of sun, cover yourself with cotton or linen clothing, use hat etc. This will guarantee your skin will produce enough vitamin D without burning and disturbing the production completely. Have been doing this on holidays all the time, best ever approach!

Does this contain nano particles of zinc oxide?

Does this leave a white cast on black skin?

Even with clear zinc products, yes a very slight white cast will be left on the skin. My advice would be to put in on 30 - 40 mins before going out to allow to soak in.

Is this oily on your face?

Yes, this is very thick & greasy, but doesn’t leave white residue. It’s the only suncream that seems to actually be ok for sensitive skin, prone to allergy reactions.
