It's an excellent mat to carry around because it's very light weight. This doesn't impact on the quality of the mat and this combination is why I'm leaving a review. It's not smelly so you can use it straight away. It's long but you need it to be long! It doesn't feel too thin. And I am very pleased that the underside folds inwards length wise so that means it's easier to clean. It also can air dry over a standard clothes airer. It's suitable for beginners and is narrow width.

Easy pack & light!A layer between you and the damp... didnt use as they had proper yoga mats available.... its too thin to be comfortable unless practising on softer ground. Ended up leaving it behind as needed space in rucksack.

Great folding yoga mat. I own two other 2mm folding yoga mats from Gaiam and this mat feels almost identical in design and quality. The 2mm mats are very thin, not as cushioned as regular yoga mats, their main function is for grip, though they do provide a bit of protection for use on hard floors and can feel warmer on cold floors. I find the folded size extremely convenient for throwing in a backpack along with my other bits for the day which makes it much easier for transport than traditional mats. I ordered the turquoise blue mat with the sun, moon and stars design. The colour is more muted than pictured, which I actually love, it's more of a duck egg blue with cream design elements, a more soothing colour palette. It also doesn't have the rounded edges as pictured, this is the same as my Gaiam mats and has no impact on function. If you prefer the look of the rounded edge it could be easily cut. Suits me fine for what I need it to do so quite happy with my purchase.

It works well for me. The texture is a bit hard but good for yoga. When it is folded it still occupy quite a lot of volume but I know there is a slimmer version so if you want something really easy to put in a luggage you might want to go for the slimmer one

Not fit for purpose. I don’t mind it being thin but it’s slippery so unable to do many yoga moves safely . Waste of money

Love the portability to and from class and more compact storage. I use it about 1x a week. Seems to hold ok so far after a few months.

Mein Mann macht darauf täglich seine Rückenübung und liebt die Matte. Riecht nicht, leicht zu falten und verstauen, gute Qualität und sehr stabil. Toll.
