Beautiful presentation! If you are giving this as a gift, you can pretty much present it right out of the outer packaging. Beautifully boxed!This notebook is beautiful! It looks just like the pics and even has a pleasant leather smell. It feels a bit stiff, but might soften up with use.The only thing I did not care for was that the closing and inner elastic were all the same piece. This does NOT detract from the functionality of the notebook, but I don't like how the inner elastics get looser when the closing strap isn't around the notebook and my inserts move around.I solved this by cutting the elastic and using it and my own to re-string the entire thing. In doing this, I was able to add a second strand inside.AGAIN...this was my personal preference and it may be perfect as is for you!I already really like this notebook and am looking forward to using it!!

I like this so much that I carry it with me everywhere. I wish that the book with the brown paper was a little better made because it's coming unraveled right now. I have only had it for two weeks and it's already coming undone. I also wish that there were page marking ribbons in the books. I do love the leather -- REAL leather -- cover and I do love that I can add things to it as I wish. I also love the pen holder: it's very useful because I can't remember to carry a pen around with me all the time without it!

I like the travel notebook. It has plenty of pages to write and sketch. I like to put pictures and important memories in these types of books and they protect them well. It is well made and you can order replacement note pads or sketch pages

I don't normally write reviews - but - this is one of the best purchases I've made to keep my mega-complex life organized. It's an elegant, beautiful notebook! The leather is firm but not stiff. There's a faint leather aroma - but no chemical smell. The travelers journals fit nicely into the notebook. I plan on purchasing one for each of my children.

It looks exactly like the pictures given online. It is definitely leather. It came well packaged in a box. This would make a good gift for anyone. I am so inlive with it.
