loved it
This is the first I’ve read by this author and I love the characters. The deep family connection and obvious adoration. The family support. But the love felt between them all was palpable. Michael and Grace are an amazing couple and I fell hard for them both so quickly I was fully invested In them.

a good read
A good storyline, Michael and Grace’s story, they met in the pouring rain, arguing over a taxi, she had returned from France and he had come over from London, they got chatting, had a memorable night together, she told him her name was Ella her best friends name and he said to call him Irish. In the morning she was meeting her parents for breakfast and they were driving back home taking her with them. She goes downstairs and sees them chatting with Michael and looked like they knew him well. She was shocked, it turned out he was related to her family so she leaves him without saying goodbye. A year later Michael goes home to see his mum who is quite ill and he is worried about her. While there he sees Grace and demands to know why she left suddenly and blocked him from her phone, he spent a year trying to find her, she tells him exactly why she left that morning. The shock affects them and is the crux of the story, you need to read the book to find out what the problem is between them and how they deal with it. A really good romantic read. Looking forward to book 2.

TikTok made me read
Carrie delivers a easy, reliable read with humour an instant classic of girl meets boy and they fall in love Grace is not the typical character she is strong and Michael has a great personality but the message here is that family is everything and I want to be in the small town with the love of a big family.

Ran straight from tiktok to read this and was not disappointed. Was a really quick read and I really enjoyed it, not too much drama and just the right amount of angst. 4 star read for me
