STAUBCast Iron 3.75-qt Essential French Oven Rooster - Graphite Grey, Made in France

It's even more pretty than the photo. I've been using it every week.Shipment is excellent, it arrived in perpect condition within a few days, all the way from the States to Asia.

I ordered the Rooster french oven in Grenadine and it's stunning. It's a flawless piece. No chips, no orange peel, not a single issue. Just gorgeous and more importantly it cooks and cleans like a dream. The top fits extremely well. No gaps, no leaks. Perfect. No worries about discoloration of the interior like Le Creuset or having to pay to replace the knob for high temp oven use as with LC either. I am a huge Staub fan and look forward to expanding my collection.

The pot is absolutely beautiful. In fact I find the Staub pots more beautiful than the Le Creuset ones but they are both good and I own both types. I also want to give a big shout out to "Chefs Corner Store". I bought this from them and it arrived right on time and in perfect condition.

Grenadine finish Roost pot is really beautiful, lovely finish. looks great just sitting out in the kitchen. It holds heat well, browns meat or onions nicely, and the lid does a great job of basting a a large cut of meat if roasting in the oven. Shipping was quick and it arrived in perfect condition.

Lots fancier than a cast-iron vessel alone. I leave it out just for decoration on my stove top: this one has the rooster engraved on the lid. If there are only two drawbacks, the weight and not being able to use acidic sauces like tomato in it, then that's ok. That is the price you have to pay for the amazing cooking properties of this new take on an old favorite.

I love Staub cookware and prefer the Graphite color because the beautiful darker colors easily show finger prints and smudges. I was pleased that Staub offered the Rooster lid design in the Essential French Oven. I find I use this pot a lot . The 3.75-qt size is handy for making soups, stews and cooking noodles.

Need to replace a vintage Demco dutch oven. Perfect size, beautiful color that matches my Fiestaware, slow cooks perfect, love the rooster on top, I would love to purchase another but this one suits all of my needs.
