Smart Wood Log Holder for Chainsaw Saw Horse

Simply the best £75 I've spent on t'internet ever. The product is sturdy, all made, looks well finished and is incredibly effective at holding logs of all but the smallest sizes rigidly right up to the biggest I can lift. It does need a flat, firm surface to stand on. Set-up from the box took all of 90 seconds. The locking mechanism is adjustable for different log diameters and teeth grip firmly in even the hardest wood allowing multiple unobstructed cuts to be made. It is only the last cut (log under 18inches or so long) that it is less than ideal but with a little care even that is no great problem. It simply knocks the spots off every other saw-horse I've seen. If you are cutting 2 inches dia or less it is probably not at it's best tho it still works, but then you are buying a log holder, not a stick holder. Break them over your knee!

Great product, well made, excellent design, helped me cut a lot of logs much quicker than my old saw horse.however - PLEASE NOTE IT IS NOT made by Makita as the description states - I contacted seller who was very helpful and responsive, but they said they could not change the description (!)

Bought for on site branch holding,Are a little cumbersome but now have got used to them.Have to be careful as the wood is not fixed well side to side and has a tendency to swing towards you when chainsaw applied. Please be aware of this

Prompt delivery easy to set up. Will handle medium size branches but trunks over 8 inches is a struggle. Would have preferred it a little higher to save my back but still gets a strong recommendation.

This is a great piece of kit. For the money I cant think of any way of improving it. Some people say that the teeth are too few and don't grip thin branches but they need to be very thin ( 3 cm dia ). I think if there were more teeth it wouldn't grip the bigger branches as well

After years of using other saw horses I tried this. why on earth didn't I know about it before? Fast, easy to use and a great price.
