This book is great! Very simple for smaller kids and also great for my 4 year old! I love buying holiday themed books when we get closer to a major holidays my 16 month old enjoy having me read this book at least 2 times a day!

I got this book for my 4 year old daughter. She read this book with me at least once a day from when it arrived until Halloween. The book is super high quality. The little 3D ghosts are adorable and my daughter loved counting them on each page. The rhyming words make it a really fun read. Overall highly, highly recommend.

Ten Little Ghosts: A Magical Counting StorybookThe story in the book is great for giving toddlers some rhyming and some counting. The little ghosts in the circles are solidly in place. I tried to pull one out to see if a toddler could get one out and I wasn't able to do so. The illustrations are colorful and are done in such a way as to make the "Scary" Halloween characters fun and approachable. The pages are glossy and made of stiff board. I also felt the holes to see if a kid could get a papercut, and they felt fine to me.Great little book. Excellent gift for a kid at Halloween time (or any time of year in our household!).

Little one needed a "halloween book" to bring into day care. This was perfect.The book is cute with adorable drawings and fluffy/squishy/3D ghosts, which is better than if the book was completely flat.The story is simple, there were tell little ghosts then this happened now there are 9, there were 9 ghosts then this happened now there are 8, etc.10/10 this book serves the purpose I got it for.The best part? The drawing of the little black cat is so sweet. We have a black cat so it's the little one's favorite part!

The ghosts look kind of flat in the pictures, yet they are round and solid. Like fat buttons. One ghost gets taken away as you lift each page. Perfect for a child to be able to count the remaining ghosts. This is a great tool for learning how to count that a child will want to return to again and again. I kept hoping that the book wouldn’t end with all the ghosts disappearing and it didn’t. It was such a cute, happy ending. Even I can’t wait to go through the book again. I know I would really have loved this as a child. A perfect learning tool and a way for a young child to celebrate Halloween.

My almost 3 year old loves everything halloween and spooky so this is a perfect learning book for her. She likes that the little ghosts are 3D and likes counting with me on every page. The pictures are colorful and easily understandable and it’s the perfect amount of words per page for her not to get bored. It’s not quite a board book but the pages are sturdy and cannot be ripped which is huge in our house. It’s also just the right amount of “spooky” for a little kid. It’s also simple enough that my 6 year old can read it to her with a little help on just a couple words. I definitely recommend this adorable counting ghost book.

My grandson isn't yet at the age to understand numbers but I can't wait to read this to him when he is (next year). The pages are a nice card stock, much heavier weight than paper, not as thick as a board book. Each page is a rhyme and a countdown of ghosts, from ten until there are none left. The circle cutouts mean that as you turn each page another one goes.I think the two-line rhyming pattern will be fun for kids to hear over and over too.The illustrations are great too.Very nice book.

My toddler has been learning his numbers and this book has made it very fun while fitting in with the season. The rhymes are cute and flow well (which is a huge pet peeve of mine when it doesn’t). The ghosts count down from 10 as a ghost disappears from each page. The ghosts are also great tactile additions to the book for toddlers.Overall, it’s very cute and will be getting more to gift others too!
