Bosch TAT86104GB Styline Toaster, Red

A step change from the usual flimsy, short-lived toasters that probably all come from the same factory... toasting elements are radiant bars (think electric fires) as opposed to wire grids, slots are wide with toast grips that engage when you depress the (sturdy) lever. Handy warming grid raised if you depress handle at other end so you can place croissant etc above toasting slots. Simple, clean design with easy to use controls on top of toaster so you can immediately see what temperature it is set at (1-5 range). Unlike other toasters you have to press the power on button first - unless you leave it on all the time (there’s a power on light to remind you). Toasting is even and temperature range will deal with everything we have toasted so far - from the thin and easily burnt to the thick and moist slice. Recommended.

This model toasts faster than then previous model, but more than that, the toasting is more even.Given that the toasting speed is quicker, yet the unit's power rating is the same, this equates to better electrical efficiency, I assume?The more even toasting is undoubtedly because it has an extra central heating element, shared by both sides of the unit. So whichever side you put the toast into it works the same.Great bit of kitchen equipment, would recommend highly. Well done Bosch!

This is a Christmas present for my mother in law, she loves it, it toasts her slices of bread, tea cakes to exactly how she likes them. It is easy to use, she loves the colour.. she is just one happy bundle of joy..😊

In the reviews for many toasters we looked at, the main fault was not being able to hold 'all sizes' of bread and toast them evenly. This one uses centrally-mounted elements and reflecting mirrors, not the 'wrapped' style of single elements as in so many others. It has a defrost setting and push buttons for selecting the toast-colour and LEDs for the indications. It has proved reliable and conistent in use so far. It is almost twice the price of the 'cheap' end of the toaster range, but ultimately this is worth it and is a Bosch; a brand with a good reputation (as in same as Neff & Siemens). This one is in 'Cranberry' colour, which matches our kitchen but getting hold of the matching kettle is now almost impossible!

Easy to use, toasts bread, bagels, crumpets etc no problem. I’m no perfectionist when it comes to toast but works fine for me, nice colour as well

I am absolutely thrilled with my new toaster. I had a lovely Dualit toaster which I was really sad to part with after several years, when it broke down. It took a long time , looking at dozens of toasters, to find the perfect one to live with us hopefully for the next few years. This toaster does everything and more...my family absolutely love the pop-up warming rack. Also no danger of burnt toast because the last person left it on a high setting, which often resulted in lots of burnt toast and expletives! It's beautifully designed. It looks lovely too. I'm boring friends and family with my rapturous toaster praise. But in lockdown ,when we are at home most of the time, it's these little things that matter.

Had to replace a faulty toaster - and decided to avoid the cheaper options this time around. So this Bosch had good reviews and I took the plunge. Good decision so far.Definite plus is that it actually fits the bread! Yep, Warburton's Toastie actually goes entirely into a toaster. On its side rather than upright, but that's just fine.Suspect it'll take a bit of time to figure out which of the settings will work best - my old one was entirely guesswork so the 'digital' controls on this should at least provide some consistency.It even looks pretty good!

We bought an identical toaster in 2014 and were very pleased with it but we thought the heating elements were changing a bit and might be getting ready to burn out. We were very happy to to be able to get this identical toaster but in the event our original toaster settled down to even toasting again. Our newly purchased toaster is in a cupboard waiting its day!

Mi è stata inviata la versione per i paesi britannici per cui, appena arrivata, ho dovuto sostituire la spina per l'alimentazione, come si vede nelle foto. Inoltre le istruzioni sono solo in tedesco e in inglese.Per un marchio importante come Bosch mi sembra una bella pecca!

Il prodotto ha una presa inglese e le istruzioni solo in inglese e tedesco, nella descrizione non è evidenziato e questo è grave. Comprando un articolo su amazon ci si aspetta che arrivi pronto all'uso. Io personalmente non ho problemi a cambiare una spina e leggere in inglese ma per un utente con esperienza diversa il prodotto non è utlizzabile e comunque bisogna considerare che la garanzia decade!! per evitare di perdere tempo nella restituzione me lo tengo e spero non si guasti , tecnicamente mi sembra un buon prodotto ma la valutazione sulla qualità della vendita è scarsa.

Niente da dire sul tostapane ...bosh è una garanzia ..ma perche la presa inglese? almeno ditelo, tre stelle solo per questo...il resto tutto ok..saluti
