Brilliant protection for damaged toes (and fingers too)
arrived very quickly and so far excellent - had to cover 4 toes with blisters and damage and was able to walk without limping or pain with open toes shoes - can heartily recommend! So easy to stretch to fit over plasters/big toes etc and comfy to wear

Worth it
Very useful, play basketball and other physical activities that usually cause strain on both my big toes, as my toes usually presses into the shoe. This product provides an excellent solution, no more pain.

High quality but a bit too bulky
Very cute and funny, comfortable material, good quality. A bit too bulky for my toes which is why I haven't given it a 5 star.

Better than plasters
Once you get used to the feel of them they work well, stay put (unlike plasters) and enable pain free dog walks. They may need trimming down to fit.

Have for months tried to alleviate pain between two toes caused by callouses and could find no dressings to afford relief. Dr. Frederick's Gel Toe Caps have come to the rescue and I so wish I had found this web site sooner. These toe caps are so easy to apply and wash and I give them my utmost recommendation.

My day job is to take peoples dogs off leash pack hiking on the mountain trails around Salt Lake City, Utah every morning all year long, rain, snow or shine! Needless to say, over the last 4 years of doing this, I have put a LOT of miles on my feet, and turning 40 next month, my tootsies aren't getting any younger! The outer edges of my big toes tend to take a real beating and develop painful callouses, no matter how much I pumice and lotion and baby them when I'm not hiking. Besides hiking 3-5 miles for my day job, I'm also an avid recreational hiker and have conquered peaks like Timpanogos and Half Dome as well as long trails like The Wave, Redwood Forrest trail, golden cathedral, camelback mountain and many more in recent years and I will be hiking the Inca Trail in 3 weeks to summit Machu Picchu in Peru on my 40th birthday. I've been breaking in a new pair of boots for that trip, and decided to try these toe caps along with a new sock configuration to cut down on foot pain and I think I've hit on the winning combination! These toe caps are an absolute game changer and an integral part of my successful combo! For reference, I wear size 8.5 womens shoes and have small to average sized feet. I bought these toe caps in size medium and they fit PERFECTLY without being too loose or too tight. The ideal setup for long or steep hikes for me seems to be . . . A pair of Injiinji crew sock liners (with the individual toes) These toe caps over the top of the sock liners of each big toe A pair of Darn Tough full cushion boot socks Hoka One One Anacapa boots or Salomon XA Pro 3D shoes depending on the season Since I started using this combination I have experienced ZERO foot pain, ZERO blisters, ZERO chaffing or hot spots! I'm truly amazed at the difference in how my big toes feel after hikes now since I started wearing these and I will forever more wear them whenever I hike! They're very easy to wash after use and reuse and I love that I can wear them under or over my InjiInji liners! I seriously can't recommend these enough for people who are on their feet a lot and deal with big toe pain or callouses, or for anyone planning a big backpacking or hiking trip to take as a precaution! I will update this review after I've worn these on the Inca trail and let you know how they held up, but I'm SO excited to have found them before the trip! I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else. And yes, I paid FULL PRICE for these and have now recommended them to everyone in my hiking group! Feel free to ask any questions!
