26 issues of Computer Active, 492 - 517, on one CD inside cardboard sleeve. Compatible with all versions of Windows, XP onwards, and recent versions of Mac OS X. You will need Adobe/Adobe Reader 7, or higher, installed on your device but; if you're using Windows there's a direct link on the CD homepage for a download. The disc is simple to navigate around and a quick search either through the index or search bar will quickly take you to the information required. Articles appear just as they were in the magazine and there's a print option should you require a hard copy. Much easier to store and browse through than a pile of magazines.

Whenever I check the printed versions of computeractive on sale I hardly ever think they are worth buying. When I have occasionally been persuaded to buy a copy I tend read them again later and find something else of interest. So, I was hoping that buying the disk would provide plenty of useful and interesting articles. The problem is that a lot of the content, whilst being topical news at the time, is now irrellevant except as a historical record. I would imagine that the pages of tips and suggestions may well have been superceded in the intervening years so in my opinion the CD has limited usefulness. I have trawled through around a third of the content so far and consider that I would be lucky if 5% of the content will be of any real interest to me. I doubt if I will be buying any more of the CD's.

Bought for myself now I can get rid of last years magazines as they take up a lot of room.

I'm a subscriber but get the CD each year and throw out the magazines. It's a very useful resource but it's a pity there's no discount for subscribers.

A must have for all computer enthusiasts and readers of ComputerActive. A year's literature wrapped up in one CD is a brilliant way to declutter as well - gets rid of space- consuming magazines and does not get frayed-at-the=edges no matter how many times you skip from page to page or article to article.

The whole of 2017 magazines on one disc, easy to use and space saving. Price was lower than I expected, and the disc was delivered within 3 days , and in secure packing

hard to get the hang of using this CD (That's probably why there are lots of help tips and advice available both on the CD and from Computer Active). I find it an invaluable help and guide.

Great value for money, a perfect way to keep back issues and catch up on the ones I missed. You need Adobe reader to get the benefit of auto-run (I use Foxit reader (my choice) so have to navigate manually. Very satisfied.
