25kg Gravity Automatic Chicken Duck Feeder Poultry with Lid and Stopper

Never leave reviews but I think this deserves one. really well made. 15 mins to put together. Time will tell how long it lasts but with no mechanical parts not much can go wrong and if kept under shelter. It will last for a very long time.

I have 12 hens and needed a feeder that would keep them supplied when I can’t get to them every day. This is set up in an outside run under cover, raised on a couple of breezeblocks to bring it up to a better height. It’s a straightforward gravity feeder and the birds took to it immediately. I previously tried a treadle feeder to no avail. With this one there was no training needed and they seem to prefer it. I still keep their old feeders around, but most of them head to this one first. The metal isn’t especially thick, but it feels sturdy enough in use and there’s been no rust so far. The lid fits properly. I’ve added a bit of weight on top as a precaution, as I wasn’t sure whether a determined chicken or rodent might shift it otherwise. I would worry about water getting in if it wasn't undercover. It’s advertised as a 25kg feeder but it doesn’t quite take a full 20kg sack of layers pellets in one go. That may be down to the bulk of pellets compared to whatever feed the capacity figure is based on, but it’s worth being aware of. Refilling is easy, it has stayed dry under cover, and I haven’t had any clogging issues. There’s no noticeable feed scattered around it, which suggests it’s limiting waste. The only real downside is that once it’s full it’s awkward to move. The edges you can grip are fairly thin, and lifting it when loaded isn’t comfortable. In reality that just means you fill it where you intend to leave it. Overall it’s been reliable and has done exactly what I needed it to do.

Used these for our dogs who are happy to use it

Took me a while to assemble it, honestly. But once its up its nice - it's roomy, can take a whole bag of feed in, its sturdy. The lid on the top is not water-proof - not that it was ever advertised it was - and the feed does get wet when it rains, and, well, it does rain in Ireland.. but this is something I should address otherwise, not a problem of the feeder. Planning to go travelling for 3 weeks and then it is going to be very handy for my ducks.

Good size and well made

Holds a lot of swan and duck pellets and is ideal. Keeps birds away from patio as they make such a mess. Had to take it apart and make access to food troughs wider so floating pellets can go through without getting stuck.

Seems a good quality product

Komplette Anlieferung. Gute Verarbeitung. Inhalt bleibt trocken. Deckel durch 2 Verriegelungen gesichert. Habe zuerst Mischfutter eingefüllt, keine gute Idee. Beim Heraussuchen der begehrenswerteren Futteranteile wurde einiges an Futter von den Hühner per Schnabel herausgewühlt und lag daneben. Bei sortenreinem Futter (z. B. Pellets) hält sich das in Grenzen.

Nel tempo ne ho comprate 6, per i vari stalli delle mie galline. Il cibo scorre bene e le galline mangiano senza problemi

Finde dieses Futterhaus wirkluch gut. Der Aufbau dauerte 30min und seit nun schon ein paar Monaten, steht es bei uns im Hühnergehege im Schnee und Regen und leistet einen tollen Dienst. Ich bin positiv überrascht davon.

Schraubenlöcher passen zum Teil nich wirklich, einpressgewinde fehlen, drehen sich mit. Ansonsten einfacher und schneller Aufbau
