yes, the bluetooth connection is a great feature so you can record no problem. I bought this for my holidays and use it to record sailing/kayaking - it's really well made.

Is it compatible with Google pixel 6?

I do not use a Google phone but have an Android 12 version Nokia phone and the Bluetooth syncs fine with the device no problem. Hope this helps.

How does the tripod feet open?

Manually, you gently have to stretch the three feet from the bottom where they all meet and they flip open then.
