One is a very heavy crystal lamp I bought for $15 because it needed rewiring. I saw the same lamp in a fancy store for $259. In any case, this $15 lamp is now a beautiful focal point in my family room and equipped with one of these amazing bulbs. Another favorite lamp is blue and white is in a dark hallway and looks perfect when clicked on with the remote. I simply cut off the cords on each base, and they can be placed anywhere that does not have an outlet. As a bonus, they provide light when the power goes off. I do wish they had come with two remotes, but other than that, I am 100% pleased.
