Review: Yes, it keeps the light out - These curtains were perfect for the canopy bed I bought them to go with. They are almost exactly the right size, with just a little bit of overlap to be sure the light is kept out. The material feels fine, and the edges have a nice pattern that helps them stand out. Hanging the curtains was like hanging a shower curtain, very easy. The curtains are completely opaque, if you value privacy. Excellent value, would buy again.
Review: WASTE OF MONEY, DOESNT LOOK LIKE PHOTO, DOESN'T FIT, CHEAP MATERIAL, PLASTIC and HOT - It did not fit the bed! It is plastic on the inside, and when the lights are on you can see the patches where the plastic was worn thin despite being bought brand new. It does not fall like it shows in the photo; it IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PHOTO at ALL. It looks more like a childrens camping tent and again is very plastic-y and crumbly, not elegant and flowy like it looks in the photo. Zero Stars.
