Sondery Digital Vocal Metronome Tuner Rechargeable for Guitar Bass Violin

OK, I discovered something from reading another review. My experience after more than one year... This tuner is great. It is accurate when compared to all my other quality tuners, including a $190 analog Seiko. I use it set to "U" for ukulele most often, but it also has settings for Chromatic, Guitar, and Bass. The transducer pickup clip opens wide to attach to the thicker-than-average slotted headstock of my ukulele. I don't use the metronome as much as I should but it is very easy to use and provides many combinations of beat patterns, with a tick or a counting voice on a volume control (a wheel on the side, very nice!). You can also tap the device or clap into the mic and it will display your tempo (beats per minute). You can also sing or whistle into the mic and see if you're on pitch! Re-charging issue... solved: This is a great tuner, but it does not respond to a high-current fast charger. My tuner's rechargeable battery went dead. I needed the tuner and used the fast charger from my Samsung phone just because it was next to me at my desk. The tuner never charged, even overnight. I thought the tuner was trash at 13 months. It sat on my bench for 3 months and I was going to toss it. Fortunately, I just read another review that says you must USE A CHEAP 5-WATT CHARGER from a dollar store. That worked!! My tuner is fully charged and working again. No Output Jack: There is a 1/4" input jack, but no output jack. I also use this to tune my solid body electric uke (it has an battery powered pre-amp/pickup). With no 1/4" output jack on the tuner, I can't leave it In Line. I have to unplug it after tuning up. If you play an acoustic guitar, uke, mandolin, etc, then you will use the transducer clip, and this is not important to you - so consider it a 5-star device and BUY IT NOW!

This is a very nice metronome that works well, is rechargeable and economical. Solid, compact and works well! I purchased this to use with a guitar.

Like the various features and the counting voice, but wish it was louder. Charge lasts a long time.

Having played Guitar, ukulele and now banjo, I've been through my share of tuners.. however I didn't buy this for the tuner. I bought it for the metronome. Learned in online lessons I was taking that I needed to go back to using a metronome. Which this works very well as. What I hadn't counted on- was getting the best tuner I'd ever used! It's great- with its clip to attach to the rim or headstock of my banjo. Just plain gives better- clear tuning indications, with less false indications. Being rechargeable is an added bonus. Highly recommend!

I bought two one for me one for my friend. PRICE IS EXCELLENT! QUALITY is EXCELLENT. The tuner does so much more than assist with pitch. It helps with TIMING WITH A BUILT IN TEMPO. Oh it can be used WITH ANY INSTRUMENT and the best part , RECHARGEABLE, AND CAN BE USED WITH ELECTRIC INSTRUMENTS AS WELL AS ACOUSTIC INSTRUMENTS!!! I love this tuner !! Out of the other three tuners I have replaced in the last two years this HAS my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION . You can sound good playing without a PROPER TUNER!!! Oh, perfect for beginner and intermediate level players!!!

I just received the Sondery Tuner / Metronome. The Tuner seems to work Ok when testing it with our Piano. I noted that it is only per set to tune Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Chromatic scale. No Violin, what we bought it for... I am sure it will work in the standard Tuning mode OK.. But my BIG complaint is with the Metronome mode. The Tap feature to be specific. I am a drummer with a band, and I wanted to be able to quickly check the speed of music playing, and a Tap button should do that... Well.. Whoever set this up is NOT a DRUMMER!! The Tap button is activated when you release it, NOT when you tap it!! Other buttons on the device activate on Tap, not release. but not the TAP. This makes it impossible to play along with the music with the tap button to get the speed count or sink the beat with the music. I will probably return this device...

I am not given to writing reviews very often - mainly because I expect things to work as advertised and unless they are exceptional I have better things to be doing! Hoever, this little gem is utterly amazing - I have any number of tuners, via clip on, standalone, UAD plugins, Neural DSP, yamaha THR amp etc etc None of them come close to the accuracy of this unit. Oh and it's a metronome too! A hands down winner, so if you need one - buy it! (Price is amazing as well!)
