My daughters been getting scared recently on a night since moving into a bigger room and ive had to leave the landing light on all night so this light is just what i needed so i can switch the landing light off! Although it looks white & bright in the picture, it actually has a soft glow so im happy with my purchase

Recently in adult life, I've developed a really bad fear of being in dark spaces, which makes going to sleep a rather anxious an unpleasant event. I bought this in the hope that I'd feel more confident and 'safe' during the night and I certainly did! Initially when I opened the box i was a little sceptical that it would do the job as its smaller than I was expecting. However i was pleasantly surprised with its power. The light is bright enough to dimly light the room but not too much that it keeps you awake. I like that it has the light sensor so you can plug it in and just forget its there as well as being only 4 watts so it very low cost to do so. I'd recommend to anyone whos looking for a small night light.

I was worried that the actual plug-in was going to be too chunky, but luckily, it’s small enough to never notice it on the landing, and the small size does NOT affect the light it pumps out. My landing is big, so this was a concern, but it lights up the whole landing perfectly; and not in a BRIGHT BRIGHT way, it’s a nice warm hue, that doesn’t blind you. Now, the sensor, personally I turn it off at the mains on a morning, but, if I do turn on the big light, the nightlight goes off immediately.Honestly, beyond happy with it.

Depending on where you want to put this it might actually be too bright! I have it in a small hall way between my sons room and the kitchen. In the small hall tbh it’s too bright so I leave the bathroom door open to stop some of the light reflecting down the hall.You could easily read with this at the side of the bed it’s that bright.It’s a nice warm glow akin to the old bulbs from the 80’sWell worth it if you have a large landing and kids or elderly needing some light for the night moving around

What a fab purchase this has been!I bought this lamp to use in my hallway near the front door where there isn’t a suitable spot for a table or standing lamp.Ideal to plug in during the darker months. Coming home from work now means not having to feel my way up the hall whilst trying not to trip over the cat!Good light output too.. it’s just bright enough without being stark, and I’m going back for another one for the upstairs hallway too.Definitely recommended!

We wanted something to illuminate the landing for the children at night, without it being too bright. This is perfect and it’s activated by light, so cones on when it’s dark.

My wife and I use this as a night light for our babies nursery to help keep the light levels low. The light is great at reacting to light levels and will get brighter as the environment gets darker. My only criticism is that the light is a little too strong - it's better to keep the bulb out of view if you can and use the ambient light instead. If it was a little softer and warmer it would be great whereas the light is very brilliant and can produce strong shadows. I would recommend this light because I think whilst everyone has their own specific preference of how bright they want it to be it still covers a lot of uses most people would have.
