The instructions were clear, and the app was incredibly intuitive. I ordered this 360 PTZ solar camera and let me tell you it is one of the best in the market. I am very happy with my purchase.I received the package and unpacked the contents and boy the items are just fantastic. Camera is well built and study. It comes with a charging wire to pre-charge before installing so the battery is 100% so the solar panel doesn’t have to play catch up. So charge the camera before hand. While the camera was charging I went ahead and turned it on and installed the device to the AOSU app which is fairly easy after registering an account. I link the camera and now I could see the battery percentage while it charged.I played with the pan, tilt and zoom while it was charging and the picture quality is amazing. The connection is very strong at 100% on 2.4G wifi. It also helps that I connected the camera to the mesh wifi box that will be closest to the camera once it’s mounted. Be sure to install a micro sd card in order to record the events. I installed a 32G which is plenty of space. Especially since the camera will loop the recording and overwrite older material. After installing the camera at its location the wifi connection is still at 90% and this is in the alley which is a good 50feet from the closest mesh wifi.I’m impressed with connectivity of these cameras. The mounting was very easy, three screws for the camera mounting bracket and three screws for the solar panel mount. The package included two stickers to guide the pilot holes to drill to make the mounting easy. Once the mounts were secured then the camera just snaps onto the mount and solar panel threads onto its mount .very easy, just make sure to have solar panel be able to absorb the most sunlight throughout the daytime. Once the camera was mounted I tested the quality of the camera’s performance and it has a very clear picture. Pan, tilt, and zoom are excellent on this camera. I tested the motion detection and it would follow my every move. The night vision is awesome you’re able to choose black & white or color night vision and both are outstanding. Overall the value for the money is great and the AOSU Solar Cam D1 SE is one of the best in the market hands down. I will keep purchasing AOSU products as they are just fantastic at a great price!

I ordered these for security purposes and people allowing their dogs to poop in my yard. I was tired of running through it with my mower and stepping in it. The cameras are really nice and cover the entire spectrum I wanted to monitor. They have great color visuals that can be zoomed in on and downloaded. Setup is very easy and relatively quick. I have identified the culprits and my problems are solved. Just be careful on your ladder. Mine broke and I fell 15 feet resulting in serious injuries.

The media could not be loaded.  Dec 14: I ordered this not really knowing what to expect. I was presently surprised when it arrived and it seemed to feel very high quality and had clear instructions. My husband put it up and it took about 3 minutes in all. The video footage is very clear and I love the 360° feature. It follows movement very well and the night vision is clear. I love that it has a light attached as well! OVERALL: I have no complaints so far (but will update if I find any) the light and night vision are very nice additions. The movement tracker has been doing great and for the price I think it’s a very nice camera and the subscription is only 40$ a year (compared to others that’s very affordable). The app is very user friendly and has a lot of cool additions to play around with. I would recommend :)One thing to add is that you may need to buy a wifi extender depending on where your router is. Ours is in the very back of our house so it doesn’t reach super well but I still am impressed that it reaches at all. But those are easy to get and all fix any connection problemsupdate: Dec 17- unfortunately it was too good to be true, I have noticed only 1/3rd of the motion is actually recorded and put onto the app.Update to the update!!: I ended up trying the camera out with a sd card instead of the cloud download and it works much better! Now all the videos are recording and updating me, I would say if you want a camera to be able to get notifications in real time then this isn’t for you- I don’t mind if the videos come later I just want them to save to look back on.

The AOSU 3K camera is very good overall, captures very clear video and is able to detect nearby human movement extremely well. The camera tracks with panning and tilting. When remotely viewing live footage it is very responsive and clear, even at night with the night vision capability. It also has the ability to hear audio, speak to an intruder and illuminate the scene very well. The camera seems very well built and sturdy. The app is easy to use and works great. I purchased 1 camera to remotely monitor my cottage and to assess how well it works, and I am now planning on buying more. The camera shipped quickly and in very good packaging. The only issue I had was with the solar charging but it was because the panel was just not getting enough sunlight in the original position. Once I moved it to a different location with more sun it starting charging properly. The support provided by AOSU, and Julie in particular, was absolutely fantastic. They were extremely responsive and were clearly working hard to solve my issue and make sure I was satisfied with the camera. Without requesting it, they provided me with a new solar panel to use, which was done by having me order the panel on Amazon, after which they instantly refunded the cost (in the end, there was nothing wrong with the panel). As I mentioned, the actual problem was my fault because the panel was not getting sufficient sunlight in the cold Canadian winter. Since moving it, it has worked flawlessly. I use a SD card in the camera to retain the videos. I highly recommend this camera and AOSU. Their support was outstanding. Communication with them was clear and concise and done directly through the app. If you want a great, yet simple to use security camera, this is the one - you will not be disappointed, but if you have challenges their support team will bend over backwards to help you. Really happy with this purchase!
