Needs altitude hold
Nice little toy…but would have been better with altitude hold making it much easier for kids to control…. Get what you pay for!!

It's tinny
It's super tinny and flimsy. I honestly feel like it will break before it even gets played with. I paid 10 euros on a sale and am still considering returning it. I think as a display it's ok but kids play with there toys n this will end up in a landfill by boxing day and that makes me feel sad. Just don't buy it. It's not worth the tears when it brakes.

Fun but a little unstable
First of all, this is not a toy for young children, but more for teenagers. The rotorblades on the Heli RC spin quite fast and can hurt your fingers if you get in touch. You will need to insert batteries into the RC, but the heli is charged through a USB they provide (I do wish they could've stuck with the standard usb-c, alas). The heli initially did keep spinning, though this seems to have recalibrated. It mentions features such as lifting off your hand, but this never worked for me, neither did the trim left/trim right option.A decent product, but lots of issues as it stands.

Powerful
Really enjoy using this RC helicopter. It's made of good material quality, has powerful motor, and is pretty easy to learn to use at first. However battery doesn't last very long, and the controller is quite sensitive so it's very easy to accidently crash it with just a little movement, making it not the most friendly to beginners. Despite being made of what feels like good materials though, this accumulated a number of scratches and damage after only a few crashes. It's at a pretty good price, so this would probably make a great gift for someone during the holidays, as long as you're ok with them crashing into things pretty often!

Set your trim!
Years ago, I spent a lot more for a similarly controlled helicopter that had less features. Sometimes it's nice to see things move forwards! This comes in a small but giftable box. Unlike many RC toys, it won't be so intuitive for most people that you just pull it out of the box, pop in some batteries, and go on your merry way. The remote has to be paired to the proper channel - that's a good thing, unless you want someone's RC car controller to smash your helicopter into a wall. Most RC stuff is on the same few channels, so I appreciate the pairing process to help ensure one controller to one device.Once paired, my recommendation is to fly it up about two feet off the ground and then get your trim worked out. These will drift in all directions until you fix your trim. You need to be a couple feet off the ground so that the backwash of the rotors doesn't push your copter around though. After trim is fixed, it works well. Most eight year olds would need help getting the trim set properly, but at least mine was able to fly it around once it was stable. For $20, this is great.
