Compound table
A surpurb attachment and used on my pillar drilling machine is conjuction with a rotary table. Very well made, easy to use with clear indexing.

Really good, with just one small oversight
Overall this is a really nicely made item and clearly in a different league to the sea of very cheap alternatives, but then the quality comes at a price.Having stripped this down to clean and lubricant everything, it’s all well cast and finished. The only oversight which I think is disappointing given the cost (both of the item and the parts to solve it), it’s that neither of the lead screws use thrust bearings, just washers. As a consequence, either the handles are hard to turn OR you have backlash in both directions.Fortunately a set of small roller thrust bearings cost about £10 and are easy to fit. These completely transform the action of both travel screws and eliminate any backlash - easily fixed but frankly not something that should be necessary at this price point when the solution isn’t even that expensive.Overall recommend as long as you are prepared to spend £10 and a bit of time to do the thrust bearing upgrade.
