Our house was built in the late 90's and the ceiling cover we had looked horrible. It was painted over, not flush to the ceiling, and had raised lettering on it. Started looking for a replacement and most the covers I found looked cheap and plasticy until I came across this bad boy. It looks great and love that it's metal instead of plastic. Much needed improvement for very little money. Wish I had changed it to this plate years ago.

I had a ceiling light opening that I needed to cover. My ceiling is white so this 5 inch white metal plate cover worked very well. It took me about 15 min so it was quite simple. The quality is good and sturdy. Overall, I am happy with it.

I have various receptacle boxes in the ceiling of a barndominium that I'm converting to a house and I don't want to terminate all of the junction boxes until I figure out the final lighting layout.These allow me to cover the unused junction boxes so they aren't as visible, but still leave the wiring in place for now.These are very heavy-duty, unlike the cheap plastic covers at the big box home improvement stores and will hold up to any use.Very happy with the price to value ratio and will be buying a few more sets as I go through the project.5-Stars all the way!

I will say these are sleek-looking design; however, the measurements were off based on the information. I was still able to use these; I just had to get crafty with using them.

Through the years changing the lighting can get new holes opend and old one left to repair. For the existing lights that dont fit or add light I have removed and securly capped of the wires and capped the ceiling hole where an box is not easy to remove and this keeps the cost to limit and leaves a clean look.

This cover plate is made of steel and is powder coated white, very robust. There is no way you will bend this, or have it bend under tightening of the screws, it is solid. The two screw holes line up to the two inner holes in a standard ceiling box, I had no problems with alignment. They supply two screws for each cover plate. The plates are large enough to completely cover the box and hole. Verry nice.
