It works as it should, the reason for only 3 stars is that the wire is not as long as advertised here. This '500 ft' wire would not encircle my 1/3 acre property. When I went and bought another spool of 500 ft wire from a local store, I found that the new spool would encircle the property. This is more likely a 400 ft spool :(
