BCAA issues with grenade: artifical sweeteners & colour side effects
Very tasty BUT note the following regards the two artificial sweeteners & colour from a 'Google' search: Sucralose (Splenda) research is ongoing regarding its potential impact on the gut microbiome and metabolism, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Acesulfam K side effects can include gastrointestinal issues, changes in gut microbiota, and allergic reactions. Animal studies have linked it to potential health concerns like thyroid issues and impaired cognitive function with chronic use, while human studies suggest possible links to higher risks for metabolic disorders, certain cancers, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Allura red can cause side effects such as allergic reactions like hives, asthma, and migraines in sensitive individuals. There is also evidence linking it to hyperactivity and other behavioural changes, particularly in children, and some studies suggest potential long-term risks including DNA damage and inflammation, though more research is needed to confirm a direct link to cancer in humans.
