Replacement Adapter for Christmas Inflatables, 2 Packs 1A Adaptor for Christmas Yard Inflatable, Transformer Plug for Xmas Inflatables, 1A 12V Class 2 Power Unit

I had a cheap blowup dog that we had used for Halloween, but I couldn’t find the plug. I used the Amazon search and found this, plugged it in and it worked for three weeks plus no problem. Next year, all set!

It helped me get my inflatables in order .

For those that know the right adapter to buy:This is not fully compatible with the Gemmy/Airblown 1A, 1.5A adapters. The pin arrangement is the same, but there are two problems:a) the plug can be inserted either orientation , it will not work if backwards. For a normal Gemmy supply the cord has an 'outie' semi-circle and the adapter has a matching 'innie' , you can only plug it in the correct orientation. This 2A power supply has an 'innie'. So mae sure you put the semi-circle in the same direction for both when plugging it in.b) The thread size on this 2A adapter is bigger than the screw nut on the gemmy wire. It will not screw on, you will have to electrical tape the connection.First the device attached to the power supply determines the power draw, not the adapter. It is safe to plug a 1A inflatable into a 2A power supply , it will work fine (you're just paying a bit more than you needed to do for the extra capacity). You cannot do the reverse, people that are saying it runs weak or slow or doesn't run probably have a 1.5A inflatable and are buying a 1A power supply.The 3-4 ft Gemmy / Airblowns (2019-2023 at least) use an AC to DC - 12V 1A or 1.5A adapter. Part numbers that I've seen include:MTR-18W120S150UL DC 12V - 1.5AMTR-15090 DC 12V - 1.0AMTR-17130 DC 12V - 1.0A

I was going to throw away Halloween inflatable because it stopped working. I thought it was the blower. I decided to see if it was just this part and it worked again.

I first thought it didn't work. Then I reserved the plug the opposite way (the way it least seemed to make sense), and the fan and lights of the inflatable came on. I could not get the round plug cover to screw on. I tried multiple times and it's never going to work because the threading doesn't match. I used electrical tape to secure it.
