Not recommended for interpreting. Sound is too muffled. Difficult to breath and interpret at the same time.

If you are wanting to use this for quite phone calls don’t waste your time. This when set close to your face creates a sound like Charlie Browns teacher. These are the most expensive pos I have ever bought. They should come free with the phone so that they would never be used.

I'm really impressed with the Steno SR technology and how simple it is use. Now I can finally have a private conversation anywhere I want. It works perfectly with my iPhone 6 12.3 and my favorite headphones. I bought the Steno SR Smartphone Bundle from the TalkTech website. I wish I had learned about the Stenomask earlier, it would saved me a lot of money and time spent on researching sound absorbing materials, privacy walls, privacy booths, wave maskers, etc. I didn't realize the solution could be as simple as a new kind of microphone! I was considering renting a new office for my business so that my neighbors couldn't hear what I say to my clients, but now I can actually go anywhere I want and have a truly private conversation. I recommend Stenomask to everyone concerned with privacy.

Picked one of these up so I could talk to clients at the beach when the wind and crowds are to loud around my business. I don’t need to yell over noise and the wind isn’t hitting the mic and making it difficult to hear me. 🤙

This works great in the classroom. I can confidently take voice notes without bothering anyone around me.
