Stanbroil Fan Kit Compatible with Masterbuilt Gravity Series 560/800/1050 Digital Charcoal Grill & Smoker, Replacement Part for 9904190040

I got the fan recently, I have 2 Masterbuilt gravity 1050 series Grills, When I got my newer 1050 I noticed that the temp swap and overall fan power was not as good as my newer one. I listened to the fans when doing high heat and I heard a difference in power. I decided to swap out the fan on my original unit and see if anything improved, I have to say during my first smoke I noticed a big difference, the fan powered up as it should and the grill maintained a slow smoke with a temp sway of about 5 degrees...I could hear the fan spin speeds being adjusted by the grill with variable speeds as it should. Now..I may have had a poor fan to begin with in my original unit and simply did not notice until I got another...but my original unit has new life with the fan.Also, since it came with a fan grill and I still had the original I decided to put a grill on both sides of the fan...this way it gives the fan a little more protection.I am actually going to buy another fan to get the extra grill and have a backup fan in stock just in case my new grill goes bad.5 star

No instructions came with the replacement fan, but not needed since I used the old fan setup as reference while installing. Easy to install anyways and the fan works great. Old fan ate it a lil sooner than expected but thankfully this one was readily available and I would get it again if the need arises.

Installed easily and worked fine for three cooks. Went out to use it and it was completely dead. Took it off and bench tested it and it didn't turn it merely shuddered. Luckily I had another fan which installed and worked fine.

I LOVE the charcoal smoke from my Gravity smoker, but they aren't the best quality in terms of components. My OEM fan literally melted. This replacement fan works great, was simple to install, plug and play. And affordable. great buy.

The media could not be loaded. Fan comes with fan guard and screws. I reused the original Masterbuilt screws as they were button-head and these Stanbroil screws were flat head. Connector is the same, wire length same as well. Fan frame and power rating are the same. Only difference was shape of blade tips, which are forward swept on original MB and rounded on Stanbroil. Fan runs and sounds a little quieter IMO due to the blades being rounded. My original fan had bent/cracked ear on frame from original MB assembly of being over tightened, which this Stanbroil fan replaced.

I didn't extensively test the item, but I did make sure it fit my Masterbuilt 1050 and I did make sure it kicks on with similar airflow. I would have to use it for a long cook to really tell if it's just as good as factory but I have no reason to believe it isn't. I know a great deal about electric cooling fans and that's basically what this item is. it's solidly constructed with nice bearings. It should last for a very long time.no extra picture was needed because it looks exactly as displayed in the listing photos.

I would give it a zero if I could. I bought it, installed it and the fan broke on the first use. It’s a waste of money.
