lightweight and versatile
Another well though out design from Snow Peak. This was a replacement for my 20 year old sierra cup. It is more than twice the volume of the sierra cup, yet is significantly lighter. The cool thing for me is how it integrates well to my backpacking set up. Because it is single wall and has a fairly wide base, I can heat water in it directly if traveling fast and light. Also, my 1qt. Sigg bottle nests inside of it with a little room to spare. I put the included stuff sack around the base of the Sigg bottle to keep it from getting scratched up and have enough room to slide in a few tea bags, too. Rather than getting the Hot Lips option, I place one of those flat ~1/2" silicone bracelets around the rim of the cup. It works great. Another tip is that the plastic top from a small Folger's container can also fit on top. It is not a perfect fit, but with a little effort it will snap shut over the rim.

Nice mug
Received this as a Christmas gift a few years ago, sort of as a gag, as I am notorious for breaking glasses I drink out of. It has been a great cup for beverages. Very light, of course. After more than a few time hitting the ground, its not dented, certainly not shattered. After a hundred washes the lettering is still perfect. Does not hold taste. When using it with a hot beverage like coffee, as long as the liquid is not filled to the brim, the metal lip will not get to hot for drinking. I would give 5 Star but for one design defect. It is just a hair too narrow to nest a 1 Liter Nalgene bottle inside it for hiking or daily carry. I honestly believe if Snow Peak made the 600 slightly wider to accommodate Nalgene bottles they would increase sales substantially.

I have all the brand’s titanium, hands down Snow Peak is the best
I bought a Snow Peak 450 mug 5 years ago at REI. It has been my daily cup since then for all meals. Still looks and feels like new. It sold me on exchanging my camp and thru hike gear to titanium. I then bought a Snow Peak Trek 1400 pot set to nestle my solo stove. It has been excellent. To save money since I bought TOAK 1100 pot sets for family camping, mugs, Valtcan mugs, Keith flasks etc. They were all good quality but…..though more expensive Snow Peak gear is just a cut above. Always ends up being my go to. Note in some cases these other brands in titanium are slightly lighter but at a cost. The Snow Peak gear just has a nicer finish, more solid and the big thing….easier to clean in the field after meals!!!! See below.I’m former US Army field trained, escape n evasion, survival, air assault school etc. so I like to thru hike fast. Now as I age (52) I still like to move fast, but also need to reduce pack weight. Titanium cookware and modern sleep systems have been a God send to reduce weight. Also, in the field I use no soap, instead I season all my pots. I recommend this for any field craft. For those that don’t know this means no soap. You finish eating you scape all food n drink off pots n mugs. Wipe. Then just cook off the rest. Good to go. No soap nor dish cleaning methods needed. YouTube or Rumble how to season your pots.So with that, Snow Peak Titanium ware seasons better than Losge cast iron. Much better than the other brands. The reason is that the other brands’ titanium have a rough coat finish. It promotes food sticking to it hard to get off. Or in Toak’s case the bottom of the pots have hard to clean ridges and indentations which were put there to strengthen their pots since their metal is thinner to save weight. Not so Snow Peak. Their Titanium is more finished or polished making it less stick. Also their mugs and pots are full flat on the inside bottom making scrape, wipe cook off field cleaning a breeze. As for this 600 Snow Peak Mug….it’s the best. Like my 450 this will now be my daily house drinker and my 450 moved tp the camping role. My two Snow Peak mugs will outlast me. Though I love my Toak 450 Mug (my former hike mug) and my Valtcan 600 I love them, but…. I am not confident they hold up to 30 years of hard use. If I accidentally step on the Valtcan or Toak maybe they crush in. Though that could be debatable. As for the snow peak mugs, they probably would hold up better.Conclusion. Save your money if you can to buy Snow Peak it will last your lifetime. If like like me at various times you want to try or can only afford other brands, it’s cool, they definitely work. Just not as nice as a Snow Peak. For Thru hikers, PCT hike or Appalachian trail rats…..the Snow Peak gear may be a fraction of a gram heavier but…..BUT, the fact they will never fail you and so much quicker easier to clean, it well more than makes up for 1-3 grams added weight. Finally, the other gear definitely made in PRC. Seems safe. But you never know. As for the Japanese Snow Peak, quality control is just noticeably better and this safer. Again I use other brands, but whenever I burn a pot while cooking, I do worry more w the Non Snow Peak brands as to if the metal is safe. With Snow Peak I have the peace of mind to be the lousy burn the food cook I am, the metal is safe.

It is a cup made out of Titanium.
Its really not hard to imagine how this product works. It is a cup, with a folding handle, made out of Titanium. They rolled the top lip so it isn't sharp. It holds fluids like a champ. It is light, strong, durable, inert and can deal with extremes of temperature without damage. Unless you go out of your way to destroy it, it will probably last a lifetime. If you're the kind of person who would like one do-anything cup instead of a bunch of different mugs and glasses, this is a good choice. If you want a camping or travel cup, its great. If you don't make any special demands of your cups, you can get something much cheaper.

cup
The product has been returned, and the handle of the water cup is poorly made. It has no damping at all and is baggy, which is disappointing.

Good, but overrated.
The cup is pretty light for it's volume, the proportions seems right (not too tall, not too wide). The handles are also titanium made.Everybody uses these cups over a stove, so the manufacturer's warnings not to put them over direct fire are useless (I think they have the same set of warnings for both single and double wall cups - while double walled are dangerous if heated over a fire, the single walled are safe). It doesn't dent, seems indestructible. Titanium has thermal low conductivity and you can drink from the cup just after you finished the boil, if you didn't filled it to the rim.But it has two drawbacks :- it doesn't include a lid, a fact which gave birth to a whole cottage industry of SP 600 lid manufacturers and DIY techniques (just google it)- the surface of the titanium is the porous kind, it sucks every weird material which touches it, it stains very easily and after the typical food scorching which is unescapable from time to time in titanium pots - it will hold the stain forever. I have a big stain on the bottom of the cup from a hot chocolate ... I could not clean it no matter how hard I tried. IMO they should polish the inner surface to a shiny mirror.Edit : Just got another stain on the wall of the cup, this time it seems is from boiling two eggs in it. I feel like I will throw this trough the opened window ...

Great
Light, big enough to boil water in, but not too big to drink out of, so: Great! On the other hand: What can go wrong?
