This sis the third tactical vest I have purchased in my 19 year career. I find that it is more durable than the the Blackhawk and generic vests i have purchased in the past. The webbing is thivker and more rigid. I chose this vest particularly because of the fixed pouches -- 6 vertical pouches designed for 30 round rifle magazines and two horizontal pouches -- one that is probabl;u desigend for shotgun shells and other other is a small dump pouch for rifle rounds. My onlu concern with htis vest is that it is one size fits all. I am 6'2" and 230lbs The vest is adjustible to fit both girth and length, but in my case I have it adjusted to the max length, and more than I would prefer.
